Staley drawing lots of interest

So looking at the list it seems there are 3 possibilities remaining...

* Chargers will have Staley in for 2nd interview. Threat level: high. Positive spin would be that they should be looking at an offensive mind given the youth of their QB but I don't think Spanos has the nuts to wait it out for Daboll who I recall hearing they liked. IMO that job is Garrett vs Staley.

* Texans on the interview list for Staley. Threat level: low. If they plan to trade their QB then I would think the offensive priority is higher. But even if they keep him I expect them to hire Bienemy to make him happy. I think he'd throw a fit if they go after a DC type.

* Eagles are listed as planning to interview Staley. Threat level: low. Whoever they hire is probably going to be chewed up and spat out in a year or two with their combination of high expectations and their shitty roster. I don't really view this is a big threat to steal our DC though certainly wouldn't rule it out.

Something to consider

Although I’m disappointed that we are out of the playoffs, they showed a graphic last night during the night game that showed the ages of the QB’s left in the playoffs. All the AFC quarterbacks were 25 or younger I believe. All the NFC quarterbacks were over 35 except for Goff.

if you go through the NFC’s quarterbacks in the entire conference there’s not a single one that terrifies you. The only ones that scare you are coming up towards the end of their careers most likely.

i’m not the biggest Goff fan after the last couple seasons but he is better than a majority of the NFC quarterbacks. The NFC seems to be a very quarterback poor conference meanwhile the AFC is quarterback rich, and in the upcoming draft the top two picks which will likely be quarterbacks both belong to AFC teams. Making the conference even richer.

my point is, if we keep building this team around the pieces that we already have the NFC will be ours for the taking every single season. The only other impressive young quarterbacks in our conference are in our own division, both of whom we generally own.

this team, and Coach both have a bright future. I just hope they continue to build in the draft beef up our offensive line, and improve in the areas where we need it most.

At the time of this writing it seems due to the lack of dominant quarterbacks in the NFC it will be wide-open for years to come for us to win it.

Go rams

Trouble Sleeping

When I was younger I would get insomnia where I would be up for a full day or two.
As I got older I had no trouble going to sleep but would wake up every couple of hours.
This has gone on for years.
Overall it has gotten better the last few years as I’ve gotten a more regular work schedule.
I used to take shots of tequila to help sleep....don’t recommend that, haha.
Part of my issue was working tons of hours.
Getting covid made me sleep 10-12 hours a night for about three weeks....usually it’s about 5 or 6 hours.

These Numbers Show the Importance of Ramsey v. Adams

This is all great fine and dandy but if the Rams offense (McVay-Goff-Running game) along with the Special-Teams crap the bed, this all time greatest Rams defense in the modern day era will have been an epic wasted opportunity to hoist the Lombardi.

If the defense plays up to their current standards, the offense and special teams better do their part and not undermine a Super Bowl winning caliber defense.

There is no damn excuse for the Rams not to win this game if their defense plays the way it has all season.

Even with the COLD WEATHER, BROKEN THUMB and all the other intangibles involved.

This defense is historic and the more I evaluate their overall accomplishments, the offense and special teams better not let them down or this season will be one of the biggest missed opportunities in NFL history.

I feel this.

Also, felt like you were about to break out into Lose Yourself...LOL

To seize everything you ever wanted in one moment
Would you capture it, or just let it slip? Yo...”

Goff to start vs Packers, Wolford ruled out.

Bro what people are trying to tell you is that your constant negativity is tiresome. We’re deep in the playoffs and have a chance to get to the title game. When you say things like “there’s my favorite homer” or something similar it gets people upset. I mean you’re in a Rams forum, of course there’s going to be homerism in here. You think Goff is not the answer right now, we get it. But don’t bring down other people just because they’re rooting for Goff. Discussion is cool but right now there is nothing to discuss. Wolford is hurt and can’t play so let’s just hold it down and root for a boys in horns ( yes, that includes Goff). Go Rams!
Yeah. JR is right about Goff. I agree with much of his take. But there's a point where you can get past putting your opinion out there and it becomes shitting on the hopes of others.

I'm not gonna keep putting it out there over and over basically. This is a big game for 16, so going to root for the dude and then postgame discuss what I saw. Then all week discuss what I see on film. Soooooo is it necessary to constantly call attention to the QB issues we've been struggling with? Not for me. Because I'm a fan first and want to see him succeed from that perspective and also because if Goff does get it together here it will have a dramatic effect on our offseason.

So a ton of shit is at stake here. I don't feel the need to constantly push awareness that our QB is a problem right now. Everyone, well, most people here know it.

PREGAME Rams at Packers NFC Divisional round matchup

Why has he seemingly lost his mojo? Hurt some?

I wonder if he's totally healthy, no longer with the high leg kicks, however, it might because they are asking him to direct his punts too often. IDK, but I blame it on Bonamego because he's easy to blame.

Would love for Bonamego to retire or for McVay to go after an up and coming young special teams coach in Brayden Coombs.
