Horrible article which could explain Chiefs meltdown

Latest from CNN:

Good fucking riddance. If I had it my way, he'd get life without parole. Total fucking scumbag.

Detroit...they may be onto something

Do you think McVay would have succeeded with Sam Bradford as his starting QB?
I dont think Bradford was half the QB that Goff is, but he surely would have been better with McVay. Now how good would they have been with Kellen Clemens, AJ Feeley, Shaun Hill and Austin Davis? Again, better than they were, but hardly SB contenders.
In a small sample, games under McVay watch with QB other than Goff? 1-1 record, 2 turnovers, 0 touchdown passes/runs, 68.6 QB rating and 22 total points

Matthew Stafford opens up about trade to Rams: 'Always wanted to play in those big games'

This feels like the draft to have lots of picks

BTW as the ILBs go I really like Dylan Moses. I think he could help us. He projects from round 2 through 3, I expect that to change with him solidifying as a round 2 guy because guys who can move well but also fill downhill in traffic tend to go before round two is over.

In our defense he would reinforce the edge from the ILB spot with much better consistency than we had last year due to his mobility and instincts. But he's physical too. This is the kind of LB we need IMO.

Also looking at this year's list of ILBs who sort into that early range it seems like there's more of them than that early range can handle. Which makes me think one of them falls to us. Real good chance we're looking at a nice ILB upgrade there at 57 IMO question is whether there's something else they want more there.

RIP Marty Schottenheimer

That’s very sad.
Yes it was

However, before COVID - the home that he was in said he probably only had 6 months to live with how he was declining so he basically died 5 months early or so. I was pretty much expecting the call every day in April.

Thing was - I live in WV and he lives in NM and I was supposed to see him one last time in late March and they locked him down before I got to see him.

6 Rams make PFF top 100

I’d like JJ resigned over Floyd also. He’s the leader of the secondary, he was drafted by the Rams and he’s got great football sense. Plus he’d be cheaper.

I recall an article last summer that quoted one Demoff or Snead or someone saying resigning JJ is an offseason priority. I know things can change but I don’t believe he’s as easily replaced as many here believe.

I could see them franchising JJ3 for a year as they work out a long term deal. The tag for a Safety is stupid low. I expect that Safeties will lobby to be lumped in with CBs as DBs just like the IOLs lobbied to all be lumped in with LTs as just OL.

Senior bowl players the Rams should look at

Yes, these were wins. Thanks for positing. They weren't the best effort of the 2 Pitt Edge guys.... trying to dip and losing your balance... :p

They weren't, but they also speak to Moore's skills. I think he has the athleticism to play LT in the NFL. As things stand now, he's sloppy with his hands (lets them drop, catches instead of punches, and is imprecise with the placement). He also will occasionally lunge. But the kid played at Western Michigan. Give him a redshirt year, and he'll be a player. You can fix the technical flaws. But you can't teach his balance, anchor, flexibility, power, natural mirroring, and quick, patient feet. When I watch him, I see a guy who can be a quality starter at either OT spot (just meets the length thresholds) and a top tier OG. I watched a few of his college games, and nobody could turn the corner on him. If you want to beat him, you have to exploit the rawness with his hands and go through him.
