Streaming Question

I'd be careful about using a "free" Vpn, especially if you are streaming video for free that you normally have to pay for. Express VPN is great and probably any of the top ten VPN services are fine. Some have free trials and I would test drive it before you commit. I'm up for renewal in June, so I plan to see what is available now.

9 Rams players who must step up following free-agent losses

It is yet to be determined how these guys listed will respond but the law of averages portends that some will be sucesful and some will fail. Astute talent evaluation can skew that curve in the teams favor and the I think the Rams have done a good job in that department but I am homer. I think the Rams have done a good job of planning by putting future peices in place in anticpation of FA losses. The one thing that can blow up the model is unforeseen injuries.

Matt Stafford Traded to Rams

Looks like even this piece of doo doo sees Stafford doing great things with us.
If Frank Reich believes Matthew Stafford is due for 5000 yards this year. I am all in with Matty Stones! ~ @jrry32

Rams Report: How they look with free agents gone, draft ahead

FA

* CB (Slot)... Cheap. Still some slot options in that group and I think corner is likely to see someone brought in.

* Center (Starter)... Underwhelming options makes this unlikely IMO. One could ask why do this if you're gonna draft it anyway. Rams probably looking to poach a bargain here but good luck with that. If it's Blythe by God it better be backup money lol but IMO it won't be Blythe which means it will be Blythe because these bastids rarely do what we want.

* ILB (Starter)... Guys who can help us are available, not big upgrades but improvements. It's possible though unlikely, as this is a place to save money on your roster.

* WR (Slot)... Rams can't afford an outside the hashes type with their cap space. But a low end signing is possible and maybe even likely once the floor drops out a bit.

* 5T (Starter)... There are some decent options left to fill that role in FA if you want a run stopper. Maybe they like Robinson and this is not a need but putting it here since I am skeptical on him. There is a lot of money in our front too which might work against this but also the draft is weak at DL and we have more needs than picks right now.

DRAFT

* OLB... If there's a blindside type they like at any pick it will trump everything else IMO.
* Center... Lots of options and IMO round 3 range is a nice spot barring a run on them or something.
* CB... Plenty of options and the need may be greater than we think if they expect to lose DWill next year.
* WR... Ton of good options and fits so this is a likely fallback at any point that will boost the passing game.
* 5T... This DL class isn't as good as the previous couple years this may be hard to pull off.
* ILB... I think there's a chance they take Jamin Davis if he makes it to us. One of these years an ILB will slide to us in round 2 lol. If not then the mid to late round types they might take a shot on one of them.
* Returner... Not too tough to pull off but it's time to make that a priority. Also find some gunners too ffs.

I'm sure I'm forgetting something. But if they address CB and WR in FA that draft need list becomes a lot more manageable.

Just always have been thankful your were not The Rams GM.The crazy thing is Les Snead has been the only GM The Rams have had besides him.
—Actually I loved Charles Armey & DV together. I know I was all in on E.James, but he produced a trade for Faulk & drafted Tory Holt. I was a Champ Bailey fan & couldn’t believe he was still there in the 1999 draft.E.James would have been there if The Rams don’t trade for Faulk.

1999 draft was crazy. I see 2021 being a little QB top heavy as well.Couch,Mcnab,A.Smith,E.James,
RICKY, T.Holt,C.Bailey.

Rams. My picks
T.Holt C. Bailey
Dre Bly Peerless
Rich Cody. Dat Nguyen or zach pillar

I’ll give you credit on The Rams main need. A DE/OLB . I do think The Rams depth though better than thought.

McVay confident in next players up on defense

It's not like McVay is going to say they're worried about certain positions.

To me, Fox is more of a loss than Brockers. Ashawn should fill in nicely for Brockers, but Fox was such an excellent, ascending rotational player that made plays every time he stepped on the field.

Also, behind Ramsey and Williams, the Rams have nada at CB. Long hasn't been what I thought he'd be, and Donte or whatever his name certain isn't the answer. Hill was spotty but was excellent tackler too.

I know I shouldn't worry it McVay doesn't, but I do. And I like the Raheem Morris hire but also know that he has a spotty track record too. No way do I think we'll be #1 D again next year. Somewhere between 8-12.
Let's see what the team looks like after the draft. I'm sure they're aware of this. CB is a top 2 need imo.

Top QB/RB combos in 2021

I’d probably rank Dallas higher than most.

Elliott is in the conversation as one of the best RB. He’s pretty awesome. I think he’s got the build to be a solid player for a few more years, he turns 26 in a few months. Lots of mileage left.

Dak can play too, but hasn’t played well in bigger games. The whole Cowboys team hasn’t been that great, of late.

Rams “Definitely” Value Austin Blythe

Obviously the Rams are letting the market determine Blythe's value. And right now, it is fairly low. They are at risk of losing him, which shows they don't value him that much. I'm pretty confident the Rams want him back... he played ok at Guard and Center although he gets overpowered a lot. The Rams are just letting the market set his value. But the Center position is still up for grabs at this point, and the Rams are running out of options. If Blythe signs elsewhere, I hope they don't have to draft "for need" at center with their very first pick. Fish was notorious for that and it rarely worked out.
I just do not think the Rams options are running out. There are well over a dozen NFL FA centers still available, not all fully healthy at this point. Most have had many starting seasons. There are always the draft & trade options too.

The Sophomore Class Can Make or Break the Rams in 2021

I think it's Hollins job to lose opposite Floyd. His snap counts were increasing at the end of the year, and they like his size. Obo and Lewis will compete for the rotational pass rushing role.

Burgess vs Rapp will be interesting. The drop-off from JJ may not be as big as people speculate. Fuller was better than JJ back in coverage, and these guys aren't afraid to hit. I'm still scared from when Rapp was beat deep against the 9ers, so I'm leaning towards Burgess as the other deep safety and for Rapp to be the 3rd box safety. As long as someone stays deep and doesn't bite, we should be fine.

Hopkins not playing last year doesn't worry me. Too many players and not enough balls to go around...Jefferson barely got targets and snaps so Hopkins definitely weren't going to steal any from Everett and Higbee. The room is less crowded with Everett gone so maybe he'll get some of his targets. But I expect Jefferson and Desean to get their share so I don't expect much unless there are some planned 12 personnel packages.

Cam is intriguing. I don't think he's large enough to be running as hard as he does up the middle. I think we need a complementary power back. Maybe we draft someone or sign a 1 yr vet after the draft.
