RIP Dennis Thomas

Early on they didn't have a lead singer. That's when they became big... with hits like Jungle Boogie. Much more funk oriented.

They hired JT and blew up with songs like Get Down on it and went more disco.

What's funny is that most die hard Kool and the Gang fans really don't like Celebration.

Generators

One of the 2200i runs great without problems it is the companion to the main 2200i. The main 2200i is a lemon & will be returned this week to resolve its issue where it will not run any longer than 5 minutes before shutting down.
I need to give an update on my comments about my second new Honda 2200i being a lemon.....It was my problem I did not insure the gas cap was in the run position. It was printed in very small writing & same color Black as the gas cap. This run position permits the tank to breathe & gas to continue to flow.

So now I am embarrassed over this, took me 3 weeks to discover this. Maybe I should read the directions next time. I am happy :thumbsup1::hug:as can be with these two lightweight generators.

My Picks For 2021

Rams get number one seed.

Play Vikings in the divisional round - Vikings have two stud WRs and a talented journeyman type at QB. Actually beating us at halftime. But we explode in the third quarter and Stafford throws five TDs total as we run away with the game.

Play the Bucs in the NFCCG, and it's a defensive struggle. Unsure of the result until our 4th WR Van Jefferson adds his name to Rams legend with a clutch TD grab down the left sideline.

Super Bowl against the Titans. We dominate the first half but leave points on the field. Titans get Henry going in the second half and tie the game up late. Stafford hits DJax, who stays healthy all season with load management, and we take the lead. Titans drive down field but LB (Ernest) Jones tackles Julio at the one yard line, securing the Super Bowl win.

Or something like that.
Nothing like that would ever happen in real life! What are you smok'in? ?

Sean McVay Previews Chargers Preseason Matchup, Talks Center Position | Rams Camp Live

Not defending Brian Allen here for his poor play in 2019. Part of that may have been due to who was playing next to him. LG was Jamal Demby and on his right Austin Blythe. Both are gone because they played just as poorly as Allen.

Now he has David Edwards, who, by the way, no one has talked much about and deserves praise for his play so far, and Corbett who is much better than Blythe and Evans.

Allen is in much better shape than he was in 2019. He's put on at least 15lbs. It was very apparent in 2nd team reps in 11 on 11 early in TC that he was more dominating and stronger vs the rush, standing up and flat out shoving guys like Joseph-day, AShawn Rob and even Donald to open up running lanes. Both VFR and I were not surprised to see Allen taking reps with the 1st team.
I agree with everything you said bubbaranfan
in 2019. he was a 4th pick in his second year
He has had time to develop and improve. He is getting his second shot and I hope he nails it!

Here is a NFC scout talking about Brian prior to him being drafted.

Sources Tell Us

"We call that dude 'Bully of the Big Ten' because he is always bringing it to somebody each and every game. He's got that Alpha mentality because he comes from that kind of family. He might get drafted late but he'll make a team." - NFC area scout

Camp Cam: The Perfect Order of Chicken Wings

I find this kind of hot to just be a little too masochistic for my taste. I want to taste what I'm eating and not have my mouth burning from the inside out. I already sweat enough without super ass hot food helping lol. I do like a very good medium heat though where I can still enjoy the food but still get a little burn going on. I'm a light whipping/spanking and not a bleeding/genital clamp kind of masochist :)

It doesn't burn the insides of my mouth for some reason... just the lips.

I think that years of loving extremely hot spicy sauces/food has conditioned the insides of myself to be somewhat immune from the hotness/burn. It doesn't stop me from tasting either. I really enjoy the taste of some of the much hotter peppers/sauces. However, that isn't true for the taste of all of them.

The outsides of my body did not develop this same immunity. My lips can't always take it. Another problem that happens for me comes from me physically slicing very hot peppers up when I'm making sauces/food. You really pay if you rub your eyes after doing that. You will also pay if you go take a leak soon after as well. LOL

NFL is Against Taunting....AGAIN

Muscle flex after a nice tackle for loss. Making a first down gesture after a big catch. Nothing wrong with that stuff. I can see it if a guy levels another and stands over him taunting. Or getting in someone's face after making a play. Or the Golden Tate taunt when he scored on the Rams that game. But the refs gotta be smart. Penalize taunts when its obvious a fight or retaliation could occur. I can't say I'm comfortable with today's refs being smart.

CAMP REPORT Camp Reports Day 9: Mon, Aug 9

I’ve gotta respectfully disagree with your take on Boom, Merlin.

There’s precious little to dislike about Boom’s pass pro, even against elite pass rushers. That’s on tape for all to see If one looks objectively.

The knock on Boom is with his run blocking. Not that he’s terrible by any means, but that he’s not nearly as good there as he is with his pass blocking. That’s on tape, too.

I don’t know how LOT is gonna shake out for the Rams next year, but I suspect that Boom is included somewhere in their ‘22 planning.
This team is extremely lucky to have a young pass-blocking LT like Joseph Noteboom waiting in the wings of the great Andrew Whitworth.

Noteboom will have 4 yrs of gained knowledge all from AW. That alone is something no other LT in the NFL has had!

I have zero concerns that if Noteboom was our starting LT that he would be one of our better OL'ers blocking for our veteran QB.

Call me a very Thankful Ram fan!

Confident in Darrell Henderson for the duration of 17 games?

On a side note, Funk surprises me with his build. Looks like he is put together well and strong.

I think we all would feel better knowing the Rams have an all-around proven back behind Hendu.

Waiting is not always easy. I trust Snead, McVay, coaches and the Rams scouting departments to find the help if needed. They have been doing a great job putting and keeping the Rams a winning team for years.

Do you have trust in the Rams to do what needs to be done?

RIP Markie Post

Beautiful, funny and extremely talented lady.

She had a great small role in Something About Mary (her mom). The Bactine Spray in the bathroom is hilarious.
My wife has had her on a couple flights and Something About Mary is one of my wife's favorite movies.

My wife is extremely respectful to all and mentioned to Ms Post how much she had enjoyed her work and that Something About Mary was one of her favorite movies. Markie responded very nicely sincerely thanking my wife for the recognition and commenting on the movie, "Wasn't that just hysterical? I loved the movie!"

Class act. Not all are like that.

A wonderful beautiful lady. RIP Markie. You left a mark.

Isaac Bruce is a 2020 Hall of Famer

Sad he didn’t thank Vermeil, Martz, and Al Saunders. I’d be very curious to see his notes on the iPad he lost as I’m sure it was just an oversight. I mean Martz and Vermeil are no brainers but I remember Bruce often having hamstring issues early in his career, but once the Rams brought Saunders in as Receivers coach those issues went away.

I'd thank Martz the OC. But as a fan I feel DV retiring and then coming back with KC in a few years was messed up. And it led to Martz the HC who burned a would be dynasty to the ground.

As a player I'd probably be ever more pissed at those two.

Rams backup QB situation in turmoil after John Wolford surgery

Our backup qb situation is not good, even with Wolford. He barely won that one game, and I don’t think he would have done as good of a job as Goff against Seattle.

Whose is better? Not very many teams. And it's also worth pointing out that most QBs don't win their first career start.

It's good because of our skill around the QB and our HC, and Wolford himself brings an element that our starter doesn't.

I adamantly disagree about him not doing as good a job as Goff against Seattle. He would have done better. And that's no slight to Jared - his thumb was clearly an issue in that game.
