Mack’s Proposal to Increase Fan Engagement.

38-0 followed by a 4th quarter of pre-season football? I for one don't care if the score doesn't reflect the actual dominance to casual final score checkers. And both teams benefited immensely from that 4th quarter.

I'd actually rather have ugly pre-season 4th quarter football erase any shred of over-confidence and spark that get back to work mentality verses a 'big head' syndrome infliction-- see Jets over Bengals.

This 'tune up' game was essentially an extra week of practice ahead of next weeks match up with the Titans.

And I love that our team is playing with a monumental amount of sportsmanship (good riddance DJ).

Go Rams.

50

I never understood all the love for Shanahan and his losing record when the better coach has been down south of SF for the past 5 seasons.
Until McVay's team beats Shanahan's consistently, I get it. Even with a broken down roster last year the Rams faltered against them. How they consistently show up against the Rams is frustrating.

I don't know who is responsible for that teams let downs. I guess it depends on who has the most say on draft day. If that is Lynch then he may deserve much of the blame. Also their injury list is always long. They should hire Reggie Scott :hiding:

Game Day Menu Thread - Rams/Texans

Don't forget about gooey butter cake. Absolutely delicious shit right there.

As for me, I had a homemade deli sandwich. Turkey, roast beef, tomatoes, all on a large bread slice. Should've taken a picture, but couldn't with my parent's puppy there; it was all I could do to keep it from him.

Oh yeah, satan's mother made us a great cookbook with a gooey butter cake recipe in it, and since a succubus feeds on the lives of the innocent that remained with me after we split up. You better believe I gave that one a go.

Desean Jackson on the trading block

Anybody know the cap impact to the Rams if they can execute a trade rather than an outright release?

I suspect that a trade, any trade, would be substantially better for the Rams.
Depends on the trade. He’s got about 1.5-1.75 mill left, I’m sure the more $$ the Rams are willing to pick up would make him more valuable.
If the Rams want a team to take the rest of the guaranteed money, they can’t be too greedy on compensation

Rams vs the Giants, Lions & Texans: No clarity

The last game was an anomaly. I won’t be concerned unless they struggle with Houston.

Teams now know they can pick on the Rams special teams though
I think it was a wake up for the ST and we will not see that type of play on a fake again. As far as the onsides kick. The ball took a very bad bounce at just the right time for it to work. So not worried about that.

Stan Kroenke appreciation thread

I'm just going to say that Stan has played his cards right with his minority ownership role during the Georgia era mismanagement and small thinking (except for the brief Super Bowl worthy teams of course) , in acquiring the team. We avoided what I'd consider, the Shad ownership team of light weights currently in J 'ville. He was a possibility as an owner, back when the team was being sold.
Stan sees big and wins big, because he plays big.
When you're in LA, you gotta play big. I think we have the right ownership. :helmet: :beer2:

Caption this Pete Carroll pic

Breaking News: Pete Carrol, head coach of the Seattle Seahawks, decided to show his team his "war face". The ensuing laughter left 3 defensive linemen needing oxygen, the punter passed out, and Russell Wilson wishing he could use his injured hand to facepalm. According to a league spokesperson, a letter has been sent to the Seahawks organization that any attempt to use said "war face" to create a competitive advantage for the Seahawks would result in stiff penalties up to and including the loss of draft picks.

When asked about it, Pete Carrol was more than a little confused.

"I don't get it. This is just my face. I chew gum every day. What am I supposed to do, put a bag over my head?"

Long time Saints fans were not amused.
