Let the Rozeboom era begin (again!)

Would hate to think that with all their talent the Rams could get jobbed by a special teams gaffe this year. We saw it in 2017. Don't want to see it again. It's a serious problem and a glaring weakness. Kicker & punter... excellent. Returns, coverage... major crap. Dump Desyphilis.
2 different ST coaches netting the same results?
It could be personel.

Hell, we don't even have viable options for return men.

Vegas current Odds with 9 games left until the postseason

the bucs ahead of us in both catagories....??

clik bait is so annoying...

thanks for the post... i can't make up my mind, do i hate brady more or the clik based media...

give me a break, the bucs have no chance...

go rams

slo

oh, and by the way, they had no chance BEFORE the miller trade...

cmon vegas, you know better...

Postseason Tom Brady is a different animal from regular season Brady, can't blame them for making those odds as is. I expect us to beat them in the playoffs though barring any significant injuries in our roster.

Favorite Horror Movie

Hmmm....had to be the Exorcist and Amityville Horror as a kid for me. Those both screwed me up pretty bad...

There was also a John Carpenter (Halloween, The Thing, etc) movie called Prince of Darkness that was pretty creepy as I recall..

Joe Noteboom Appreciation Society

Are they Chandler Jones? No where near.

I'm not denying he had a good outing. But, his history has shown more negative than positive. If he turns out great...I'll be more than happy to eat crow. I don't mind one bit. But, I'm not sold after going against such a shit team.
He's actually got more sacks than Jones, Floyd or Donald and Jones had 5 sacks in the first game of the season against some backups.

Greenard is a baller.

Noteboom's problems have been in run blocking more than pass protection.

GDT - Rams at Texans

Allen was rock solid in pass protection, only allowing one measly pressure on Stafford. He was downright dominant in the running game, earning a team-best 90.3 run-blocking grade.
I saw one block where he blocked a linebacker 5 yards passed the line of scrimmage that sprung Henderson for a 20 yard gain.

I was thinking at the time - that block would have been ole'd last year

20 Random Houston, We Have No Problem, Thoughts

REALLY need people to understand the terms and rules of this board on this. Find a better way to express your opinion.

"Any derogatory terms toward other members, members of the Rams organization, or cities will not be tolerated."

Okay.

While Wolford is a fine human being and seems to be an amazing teammate, I find his play this year to be beyond substandard.

I wish him luck in his future endeavors on Wall Street which I hope comes sooner than later...

You're right... as a person, Wolford isn't garbage. His play??? beyond substandard.

Snap Counts vs Hou

Granted playing with backups doesn't help, but he also missed throws. I think he took a sack when he had Jefferson open beyond the sticks, and then the almost pick 6, he didn't really look all that impressive.

Hard to get a read when it's with backups, and who knows what he gameplan was at that point, but it wasn't inspiring to say the least, neither have the other times he's come in for relief either if I'm being honest.

I agree that he hardly looked sharp, and I was quite critical of his play at the time, but I didn't realize that the entire right side of the OL also came in cold. 9 snaps for Wolford isn't much of an indicator, although back-ups need to be prepared for anything, but it's also more likely that in the event Stafford had to come out, Wolford would be playing alongside the starting OL.
I don't wish to make excuses for Wolford, he looked pretty bad.
jmo.

Wolfy

Well, I just think you need to put a little more into the QB back up position. Stafford hurt season over. Nothing we have now will get us to the SB.
Barring some one-in-a-million miracle run (i.e., Foles in 2017), there isn't a backup out there who can get this team to the Super Bowl if Stafford gets hurt. That's why I support drafting a QB. There's better odds we land a starting caliber QB via the Draft than we do via FA on a cheap contract.
