Hypothetical Question?

Serious Question:
Toast for a playoff run? NO

Toast for a championship run? NO

OR

Toast for the Division title? NO but it will be tough
Tampa lost back-to-back games (to the Rams and Chiefs) and fell to 7-5 heading into their Bye-week.

With the Saints at 10-2, and having already beaten the Bucs twice, the Division was lost. However, the post-season was still there. Good health and playing its best ball of the season, Tampa won four games to close-out the season, followed by an impressive post-season and a Super Bowl Championship on its home field.

No toast.

PFF grades vs Titans

Whitworth & Havenstein had relatively good/decent grades. Seems things really start dropping off with Brian Allen at 59.7, although I see no grades for Corbett & Edwards, and this appeared to me to be one of Edwards worst games yet. Anyone have those Corbett/Edwards grades ?
I don't but I think I remember them (Corbett/Edwards) having bad grades against the Texans too as far as PFF grades go. Hopefully not a sign and just an aberration.

Just a thought

The obsession with elevating the #3 QB to the #2 position is just kinda odd.

As for the offense, overall? Well.. no.. don't change a damn thing to the overall scheme. From what I've read.. what I'm sure most of us have read.. Stafford may be a little too in love with the deep reads at times.. and there ARE short reads available to him. He's got to get through the progressions and understand what the opponent is doing a little better.

20 Random Titanic Debacle Thoughts

a few things i think i think. #1 i am not to sure we have any kind of a home field advantage seems like we lose more at home than on the road #2 mcvay almost seems to refuse to challenge calls or ball spotting by refs and lord knows they make plenty of mistakes that need challenged #3 most want to run the ball more but i think that henderson is a notch above michelle and over use may result in an injury. #4 i just keep hearing that our young players will get better with more experience but sometimes playing more put film out there for teams use to find flaws in a players game. there is no doubt that playing more helps most players but it is not a sure thing

Think we lost our deep threat?

I completely agree but would not expect a receiver that just made a really big play, and expended a ton of energy to take-on an unnecessary hit for a couple extra yards. Factor in his lack of size, age and recent-injury-history, I was OK with Jackson going out-of-bounds. He did exactly what the #4-WR / deep-threat was supposed to do.

Also, that was a huge play in that game. it was the third quarter, and the Rams were trailing.

I agree. Particularly given his injury history -- no need to be a hero for four extra yards. If it were for a first down or he was near the goal line, that would be different, but that wasn't the case.

My Birthday Dinner

Juse got back home from the dinner. It was great. I tried everything....the pichana(spelling) was far an away my favorite followed by the flank and then the lamb.

I polished off quite a bit of that fancy ham/bacon stuff that starts with a P.

Terrific. For the price tho, the dessert should have been included. Imo

Great overall
Picanha = Top sirloin cap cut. One of the Faulk family's favorites. One of the easiest cuts to cook to desired doneness and underappreciated at any market's butcher section.
If you're near a Costco, grab a pack. You won't be disappointed.
