New American Underdog trailer

Tough crowd. This is the NFL's greatest underdog story, which is saying a lot given how many great players have come through this league. And he won that Super Bowl as a RAM.

We're gonna have to endure uniforms with undersized numbers (yes annoying), or his wife being cast in a very beneficial light. Maybe even the storyline shitting on Martz. So what. Can't wait to see this one been waiting all year for it. :part:

Positive Thoughts For Hill

My positive thoughts now for Hill are that I wish we still had him on the Rams.

Our cb play other than Ramsay and maybe Williams when/if healthy have not been very inspiring so far.

It's not just Morris. We don't have the personnel we had last year, including Hill and JJ.

Odell Beckham Jr. and Von Miller aim to make the most of bye week

Odell Beckham Jr. and Von Miller aim to make the most of bye week

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The bye week won't consist entirely of rest and relaxation for Rams wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and outside linebacker Von Miller.

Los Angeles' midseason acquisitions made their debuts in Week 10, and still have plenty to learn. Accordingly, this week will be about getting up to speed, especially with a road game against the currently 8-2 Green Bay Packers coming out of the bye.

Starting opposite Leonard Floyd Monday night, Miller played 45 of 68 defensive snaps, collecting three total tackles in his first game as a Ram. It helped that Miller had a preliminary idea of the defense due to the similarities between the systems run by the Rams and Broncos. That said, he knows he still has more to learn.

"Bye week is always good," Miller said postgame after Monday Night Football. "I can get a little bit more healthy. I feel like I was healthy enough to play tonight, but let's take a little bit to go. This bye week can help me get healthy. This bye week will help me learn the playbook a little bit more. This defense had some carryover, but I still need to learn it. This bye week and next week, it'll be good for me."

Meanwhile, Beckham played 15 of 55 offensive snaps and caught 2 of 3 targets for 18 yards. Considering he didn't participate in his first practice with the team until Saturday, or two days before gameday, it was impressive he saw the field.

Getting Beckham adjusted will be a bye week priority for both himself and Rams head coach Sean McVay.

"I think for Odell to even be able to get out there and line up is a real credit to him," McVay said during a video conference with reporters Tuesday morning. "We didn't even have one full speed practice with him. So, these next 12 days will be really important to get him implemented, get him up to speed, and figure out a plan of attack to maximize our offensive players, and to play better than the way that we have these last couple of weeks. That's where my focus and concentration will be over the next few days."

For Beckham, this week will be a mix of diving into the playbook and "little two-a-days" after a mini-hiatus as he transitioned between teams. This is the first time in his career he's changed teams midway through a season, so it's a different adjustment than before – one that necessitates putting in work during his new team's week off.

"Just over the bye week, being able to get in the playbook and really try and learn every single thing possible," Beckham said postgame. "Two days (to prepare), you know, it's quick, but I'm ready, I'm excited, I'm happy to be here."

What Changes (If, ANY!) Can we Expect During The Rams Bye Week???

Well I have to be honest. I'd rather have a little funk mid season than at the beginning or end. Things might get worse who knows. But I know one thing. Losing won't be tolerated here in LA anymore like years past. The owner has spent too much money to let it go there. So I figure we hit a funk. Maybe we come out better after the bye or we don't. But I expect it won't last much lol longer than another game. It's gonna take time for this team to gel. Lots of new moving parts and they are obviously not playing well as a team right now.

SF round 1 Vent Thread

Yeah, I'll say this for Goff... he's got the best play action fake, maybe in the entire league. His fake was so consistent and they really worked on it.

I was shocked at how uncomfortable Stafford was with it... it looked awful in comparison. I really hope he works on it.
I’ve said this before… one reason Goff was successful was if the first read was there on a play action timing route, he’d nail it because he didn’t have to think or process and he had the mechanics down.

I don’t care if Stafford doesn’t love PA, it needs to get mixed in.

MNF - Rams at 49’ers

This might be the most overrated team in history. If we make the playoffs we could very likely lose in the first round. We're not better than AZ, TB, or GB. And if we played Dallas next week I think we lose. This feels nothing close to 2018. Soft ass team and McVay gets out-coached on the regular now.
Remember the speculation from a lot of naysayers in 2018 when Peters, Talib and Cooks were acquired? There were people comparing them to an Eagles team from years prior that busted. Well, THAT RAMS team won an NFC title. THIS Rams team is gonna be the one that busts.

Is Kyle Shanahan = Jeff Fisher?

Agreed. But by God he can anticipate and beat McVay. Shit if he could do what he does vs McVay to every other coach out there he'd win 15 fuckin games a year.

Morris made this an easy game for Kyle.

It was like Madden on easy mode where you call the same play over and over because it works. You just switch sides for the run and run the same play and win.

I hate that we just fed Deebo Samuel's version of SOSAR. That hurts.

FIeld Goal???

The game was over and it was better to not put Stafford in position to have to make a deep drop and maybe get injured on a blitz.

Just kick the field goal, take your shitburger with extra shit because it's the 9ers, get on the plane, buy a case of mouthwash, rinse away this loss and move on.

Bitching about the FG like we had any chance down 24 with less than 4 minutes to play is silly.

PREGAME Rams at 49’ers - MNF

* Opponent is not a good football team: check
* Opponent has large number of injuries: check
* Opponent knows how to beat current Ram team: check
* Opponent is a rival and the game means everything for the Rams: check
* Opponent has a QB controversy: check

Rams fall apart early and often after a promising early start to the season and lose to a bad 49ers team: check

Either you need a lottery ticket or McVay's number.

As much as I dislike the pessimism, I'll have to look for your take before the GB game as we get closer to that.

I mean...damn.

Also, dammit... why'd you have to put that out there...put that evil on us...

Next time... find your happy place and help us to a win, yo!!!
