Anybody got info on Justin Hollins rehab/ return

We really need Hollins back against teams with a great TE and/or running game

I watched the first series against the 49ers on All 22 and Reeder was just horrible.

Almost every play that Reeder was in, I was asking what in hell are you doing Reeder.

And why oh why is Rapp playing so far back off the line of scrimmage against these teams.
Reeder did make a couple real good plays. The first series took around 14 plays,so he wasn’t that bad.
Anyway we’ll see what happens when Hollins gets back.I doubt he takes that many reps from Reeder.
Ernest Jones is still developing into an every down LBer.

State of the Running Game

Yeah and honestly stats don't show the rhythm of the game. It seems to me like every game where we need Hendy to carry the load he gets dinged up or pulled out for something or can't dress. And when he's in there he is not a guy who gets stronger as the game goes on and starts to take over. He's just not good enough. Hasn't been for years now and it's why you could feel the difference with Akers when he started hitting his stride.

This team needs a RB in the worst way IMO. But McVay not calling run plays feeds that too. All I can say is Michel should be good enough to do that for us, how long he'll be able to go before he gets dinged up I have no idea but it's time to ride his ass.

Thanksgiving Day - 12:30pm EST - Bears at Lions

Thinking that after the Bears lose this game Nagy's ass will be fired just like the rumors have suggested all week. :laugh4:

I don't know how any owner or GM can watch that dude speak to the team and think "yeah this is the guy I want leading a locker room of grown men." Between the two teams one of them has that kind of leader and it ain't da Bears.
Silly boi...For the Bears to lose, that would mean the Lions would have to win....Not this year.

We're all pissed

Love your passion, newbie fan..My earliest memory of Ram famdom is 1958 when I got a Rams uniform for Christmas..Hurts a little to say this, but that was over 60 years ago...Hurts as in every joint in by beat-up body...
My brother and I got jackets 1 year, probably 1970ish. They were the blue and whites. I wish I could find a picture.
That's a lot of football mike, sometimes I think of the Seahawks and Bucs as expansion teams. Oh the memories of all those playoff games in the 70's when either Dallas and Staubach or Minnesota and Tark would knock us out. Niners were trash so it was always Minn and Dallas that I hated as a youngster

NFL Thanksgiving Day History: Best moments, traditions, records

NFL Thanksgiving Day games history: Why the Lions and Cowboys play every year, best moments, traditions, records

Thanksgiving Day to sports fans is as much about football as it is about the traditional turkey dinner. From high school football in the morning to watching the afternoon game on TV as dinner starts, this tradition is as old as time. Well, almost as old as time.

The Detroit Lions have played at home on Thanksgiving every year since 1934 -- except when games were paused from 1939 to 1944 during World War II. The annual holiday tradition expanded to add a home game for the Dallas Cowboys in the 1960s. These franchises -- and their fans -- only know football on Thanksgiving. In 2006, the NFL added a third game with no specific host team to the prime-time window.

This year's Thanksgiving Day schedule:

Chicago Bears at Lions: 12:30 p.m. ET, Fox

Las Vegas Raiders at Cowboys: 4:30 p.m. ET, CBS

Buffalo Bills at New Orleans Saints: 8:20 p.m. ET, NBC

So why do the Lions and Cowboys always play at home on Thanksgiving? What does the day look like for the coaches, players, families and fans who put their holiday celebrations on pause to take part? And how many thousands of pounds of food is served at the stadium? We asked NFL Nation reporters Todd Archer and Eric Woodyard to explain the history.

We also laid out the Thanksgiving stats and numbers you should know and even took a journey back in time to explore the biggest and best moments on the turkey day stage.
