I think McVay really brought Matt’s game up when he started featuring Sony and re-energizing the play action. Bye bye hero ball after that.Might as well start off with the Stafford debate here again.
He certainly met or exceeded expectations just for the fact that they are in the SB.
However, I will say I didn't expect to be holding my breath worrying about INTs as much as I did. He is like the relief pitcher, who often walks a couple guys in the bottom of the ninth, but then strikes out the side to end the game.
He put us in the hole in a few games, but then plays great in the 4th Q to pull it out.
Even the season itself, his slump was a big part of the 3 game losing streak and the wk 18 loss, not all his fault, but a contributor, then as a 4 seed he rallies the team to 3 wins with the last one being another one where he rallied.
So exceeded, I guess, still a four seed though and I would expect most of us thought we could have been better than that when the season started, but he rallied them to the SB for sure.
So many stories about this past weekend but past an old whiner fan on our way to the Uber pickup place after arrival and he said without any provocation be cause we were wearing Rams gear "Welcome to Levi Stadium South". My wife said without hesitation, "thank you! Levi Stadium North is for the homeless." He almost fell into the street. Swear to god.Went there the first I think 3 years it was open for our game vs them. Went for decades to the Stick. Born in Castro Valley lived in Heyward now northern Nevada and no desire to go back. And have only 1 cousin and his family left in the Bay, he's got too good of a job there to move too.
I remember seeing Blanton catching a TD in preseason and I was like cool, never heard of him. Look at him now, balling in a huge game when his number is called. When Mundt is back next year buh-bye Hopkins.
Haha niceI heard Brickers was a great rebounder but couldnt hit a free throw. So he decided on football![]()
Since the Rams left St.Louis I've really struggled. I've watched every game just like always, but, I haven't cheered out loud. I never get excited or mad.
Something clicked this week with this game. I was back to screaming at the TV and telling everyone how shitty or great they were. I found myself actually cheering again. It truly felt amazing to have that back.
Not entirely. The Rams averaged 24.7 rushing attempts/game in the regular season. In the playoffs, that number has increased to 32.3 attempts/game.So for this prognostication has been pretty far off.
Are you referring to Tutu?Don't laugh, this guy could be good.
The guy is so small that defensive players will think he's an offensive lineman's leg and they won't try to tackle him.
Always a great day when @Prime Time is in the House!!!Starting at 1 minute and 57 seconds of the video we hear the audio of Aaron Donald as he encourages the defense.
IF they can find a QB. I think when the Rams went out and got Stafford that changed the dynamic. Rams passing game is finally looking really good now and should be even better year two. I don't know if the 9ers will be able to compete and that's even with rat boy making anybody look good at QB.Rams/shitters gonna be this decade's Steelers/Ravens of the late 2000s.
It'll be one of those things where we'll be flat out rooting for Arizona and Seattle when they play SF.
