Pro Bowlers From 2000-Present By Draft Round

Pretty bad when we have drafted 2 of the 7 OL since 2000 in the top 5 that were never Pro Bowlers (or even remotely good for that matter)

Ram ring in super bowl

Wait I thought you said you were done responding?

As I said, if you get offended and booty hurt how about you learn a little bit of how to post better so you don’t get those responses? It’s not by accident. It’s not that people have it out for you. You get what you give. 90% of the time.

angry willy wonka GIF

I responded because you did.

This is way beyond being "booty hurt". This is about unsolicited attacks on me whenever I post anything Rams related. It's always something with me. Whether its you, or in the Super Bowl thread yesterday over the damn half time show. Which isn't even Rams related. I can't talk about the QB, Raheem Morris, line, draft picks because i know my opinions won't be always with everyone else.

I post one thing. One thing related to the Rams and its always "oooh Angry Ram always has to get the last word" "oohh Angry Ram post better" "ooohhh its Angry Ram you don't read other peoples posts" "oooh Angry Ram you just dismiss other posters' opinions".

That's BULL GODDAMN SHIT.

It's posters like you and others that I have absolute zero motivation to discuss anything Rams related so i end up just derping around in non-Rams related threads and pointing out double standards on twitter comments and media. You think that's enjoyable all the time?

Also, who in the hell are you to tell me how to post? Go read my postings. Go do it. And find me 3. Just 3 posts of mine related to the Rams that do anything that warrant name calls, attacks, etc. You know what...I know you won't so I'll do it for you.

I posted in the the Torry Holt HOF snub, disloyal ex-Rams, and top 5 Rams to not win a Super Bowl. That's it. Answer the freakin question.

What in the absolute hell did my post in this thread warrant you saying "captain america undies".

Do I call anyone out?

Do I attack anyone?

Do I name call?

Do I dismiss/ignore other people's posts?

Do I post like its my way or the highway?

Fuckin sick of this shit. Complete garbage.

Bad Officiating vs. Rigged NFL

I'm not an Eagles fan by any stretch of the imagination, but this call gave me PTSD. If they called it like this, we'd have had BOTH Super Bowl wins against the Cheatriots.

But what makes it even more unfair to me, is how on Earth do you play DB in this league when you can't count on this call being consistent? Even though he admitted it was holding (good for him!) that's not the issue. It's that they get away with that ALL GAME, then the ref can decide if/when to call it!?! WTF? Tell me that doesn't open the door wide for nefarious intent.

Worst time ever to call that. We were robbed a great last drive, one way or the other. Either Hurts is a hero, or we get another AD type ring moment when the Chief D stops them on 4th down.

Do we have a lawyer on the forum.

I am a board certified labor and employment lawyer with 30+ years of practice.

I can’t give specific legal advice (for many reasons), but I will say that, in any situation involving a termination, it is a good idea to try to get the employer to commit to a specific reason for termination. If they have not already done so, filing for unemployment benefits may be an effective way to force their hand.

Once you have their reason, he (or his counsel) can evaluate whether (a) it can be proven to be false, and (b) whether there is a basis to assert that there was an unlawful reason that motivated the decision (ie unlawful discrimination or retaliation).

Good luck.

TOM & GISELE BIG FINANCIAL LOSSES WHY TOM UNRETIRED?

Some are saying Tom unretired because he needed the money. Tom and Gisele lost over $84 M in the cypto collaspe (FTX).

That's misleading at best.

It wasn't the crypto crash per see.

In fact, the major currencies have regained their losses and are back around what they were 6 months ago.

And in any case, somebody like Brady wouldn't have his coins stored on a fucking exchange.

He had stock in FTX, so it was the crash of the company that hurt him.

Plus, it has not been made public how much he had invested only how many shares he had, which was 1.1m.

The very most he *could* have paid/lost is $70m and it may well be much less than that.

Still a lot of money but this all happened way after he came back playing, so it's a moot paying.

So in conclusion fuck Brady and fuck me for dragging a thread about that utter twat to the top of the board.

Poll: Rams Super Bowl legacy stuff

XIV
Rams vs. the Dynasty
The Rams lost a few fans with the move to Anaheim. The exploding bandwagon after a Championship would've more than made up for it. Plus, the Rams as a Championship team would've had an easier time greasing some political wheels in Anaheim (with resepect to some development in the 80's). There's a small chance what happened 15 years later, would've been different.

Oh, add in the Vince Ferragamo movie too.

Most Disloyal Ex-Rams

Hey, some people don't want to take context into consideration and that is their right to do so. It's like my nephew who is career Army and his cousin who is career Navy, they don't understand my brother and my distaste for the military as it was in the 60's and 70's. As I told both of them had the Navy been back then what it is now I would have probably tried to stay in (injuries allowing) and made a career of it. i was being fast-tracked to OCS before my injuries (i.e. within 60 days of my return stateside). Back then and it extends almost up until today we were treated differently. Case in point even today I have a lower priority with the VA despite being combat injured, the same was with my brother who had to fight for almost 20 years to get his permanent disability designation. Combat injured since the first Iraq War have a higher priority even to this day than my brother and I.

So when I see former Ram players who turn a cold shoulder to the Rams now I understand the context of their distaste. To consider them disloyal IMO is doing them the same dis-service as was done to my brother and I. When I got stateside on the first day of my return I walked into a coffee shop to get something to eat. Since I was in transit I was in uniform and so they refused to serve me and the waitress spit on me calling me a baby killer. So yeah I understand the concept of context because nowadays people thank me for my service when they find out I'm a vet.

My brother and I today remember how back then we had to lie on our job applications about being a vet. If you checked the veteran status box you wouldn't get an interview.

So yes Loyal you have an absolute right to your opinion. Just like some of us have the right to disagree with the concept.
Never said anything different. I will say that you don't own the right to decide who is being contextual and who is not.

Best Type of Running Back?

All the gazelle's you mentioned were franchise backs, although SJAX was as well and he's listed as a bruiser. Faulk, Tomlinson and Saunders were franchise backs as well.

I voted for gazelle, but I'd take any one of those that is a true, every down franchise back that has to be accounted for by the D on every single play. The kind of guys who can take it to the house on any play, running or passing, and can get tough yards too.
franchise back = bell cow

John Hadl, Rams QB - RIP

Do you remember how he suffered it against the Packers because I remember reading that too? In fact, in 1974 during a practice Carroll Rosenbloom asked Hadl what was wrong with his arm because his passes wobbled and Hadl responded by informing Rosenbloom it wasn't his arm, it was his back. A week later Hadl was traded to the packers and Hadl later said, maybe they felt the back wasn't fixable and he was too honest
Didn't see the game (living in Georgia, that game was not on in this market). And even though I subscribed to Pro Football Weekly at the time, don't remember seeing anything in that newspaper about it. Actually, came across that nugget long after Hadl had retired during the internet age. Would only presume it occurred as a result of being tackled by a Packer but don't know for sure.

PREGAME Superbowl 57 - Chiefs / Eagles

I figured tomorrow would not be much excitement for me. I don't hate on either team. No villain to root against. Or team to root for. After seeing this stuff and hearing about other trash talking from the sore losers I now have a team to root for.

GO IGGLES!

8to12 January/pre Senior Bowl Mock

Very aggressive and ambitious. I like it, especially since you deal with upgrading the Center by acquiring a proven player—eliminating the draft from the process.

A couple of your trades also fit that formula. Nice to have someone locked in prior to the draft. That actually fits what the Rams have been doing recently.

As for the draft itself, it looked great PRIOR to the senior bowl. Some of those guys helped their status big time and shouldn’t be sitting there on day 3. But who knows? Somebody always drops. The Rams need to scoop him up.

Nice work. Appreciate it.
Thank you for the kind words. It's nice to know that someone appreciates it.
