and his 40 time....What’s his vertical?
I got that I just find stuff like this funny. It's similar to coach speak if coach says something people agree with it's cool otherwise it's just coach speak. If a player is listed at a weight and somebody agrees with it it's cool otherwise we don't trust what the list says. A lot of the times these aren't changed from the time a player is drafted, for the record AD at the combine weighed in at 285 and it may have never changed but he dropped weight as soon as he got in the NFL. We don't know that's my point. It makes no sense to doubt what we're told by the team unless we have something from the player like in AD's case to counter that. The Rams tell us Floyd weighs 240 then he likely does and what is the difference if he weighs 245 or 248 or whatever we think he might weigh? He weighed 244 at the combine so maybe he lost weight when he got to the NFL like AD.
Neil Armstrong stepped on the moon-Best I can remember was watching it on video TV in 9th-grade class @ Johnson Jr. High Eau Gallie FL. My dad worked at the Cape for Lockheed so it was a big deal.Neil Armstrong stepped on the moon...

I suppose it depends on circumstances - relative to other positions, I presume. This is still the NFL.... Doesn't seem that easy if we had to find a guy that retired a few years ago, to step in during the SB run....
Trading for Hopkins is a pipe dream. The cards are in our division. No way they let him go to a team like the Rams. No way.I’d could see an Akers trade after the Rams secure Bijon Robinson in the draft. ( As Memphis suggestion in the draft forum) McVay has been pretty consistent with focusing on offense with his earliest picks recently. .
Maybe trading for Deandre Hopkins and trading or cutting Allen Robinson. McVay likely dreams of Nuk the same way he did Von and OBJ.
What I’d hope to see is signing an edge and an interior Olineman (preferably a center) Those two things could do a lot to shoring up two major holes. I wonder if Wendell will have an inside track on some players.
Unfortunately I do. It concerns me.
I don't think McVay is a good source for either RB or TE. In other words I think Snead needs to identify guys who have shit that McVay overlooks and/or does not prioritize.
As it pertains to TE there are some real ones that should be on the board when we're up. That is very exciting to me. But what is equally terrifying is McVay telling him what they need is some passcatchy sumbish who will play like a pussy on the edge in the run game. Some guy who is all weapon like Everett, or Hopkins, or Harris. Fucking enough with those guys man. Enough already.
What really matters is an impact player with that round 2 pick. I honestly don't care what position they go with. In fact if it's not the most obvious need it probably means it's a true-to-the-board type pick most likely. Which means maybe we hit big on a guy who will elevate this team.
That's what we need. Too many satisfied stars last season, some might bounce back but we need an infusion of play-quick types who scare the others on the depth chart and that round 2 pick has to be a hit. We need quality there. Not a fucking 3 year development with amazing potential where we miss out on that cheap valued starter. A player with a history of producing who slid from whatever position. There's some of those guys every year let's get one of them.
