Honesty I couldn't either. ARod was in the background and it was a Rodgers jersey in his box, but it definitely did not sound like Rodgers saying he loved watching him at Georgia. I couldn't recognize that voice...

Edit: I think that was Stetson reading the message ARod wrote on the jersey.... Solved. Cool as vid BTW.

For sure. And if the Rams had held on to win SBXIV, that would have been the biggest win in Rams history. More so than 1999 or 2021. But neither happened. So we have to suffer with just those 2 Superbowl victories. We did exorcise some demons on the way to all 5 of our Superbowl appearances. Beat Dallas twice, Minnesota, San Francisco. We can also take solace in knowing those 3 haven't beaten us in the postseason since 1980, 1988 and 1989, respectively. :biggrin:

The store closes at 10pm and reopens at 6am. This means they are stocking the shelves all day, blocking aisles and frustrating the mass of people trying to shop and get out of there. One thing that I used to love about Walmart was the wide aisles, as compared to Kmart, along with store employees ready and willing to help. Remember, this is a small town and so you are liable to run into people you know in the store and these conversations often block aisles that are already clogged. Then there are parents and kids talking to other parents with kids, who seem absolutely oblivious that people need to get by them. These things were minor annoyances before the pandemic, can now be infuriating because the store won't go back to a 24 hour operation. It's like they decided that since their customers had no good alternatives, the façade of caring for the customer was ripped away.

The other example is the local Applebee's. I know you fancy folks have all sorts of options for a nice dinner out, but the only big chain sports bar/restaurant is Applebee's in this town. Pre-pandemic, it was a light cheery place with music playing in the background. It felt special to go there on a weekend. We went there a couple times after businesses started opening up again, but it was bad. The whole atmosphere of the place was different. No music and it seemed darker. The food presentation was horrific in disposable containers. The food we used to enjoy, looked like it had been microwaved The petals were off the rose, as it were. A year later we tried it again, and it still wasn't great. The food presentation was better, but the atmosphere was dark and uninviting, which is a shame. Applebee's was a place we went to almost every week, but we longer have any desire to go there.

Not a malcontent he doesn't want to play RT. Says it isn't his natural position and it puts too much pressure on his right leg. He has to look out for his future. Rown doesn't want to play RT either is he a malcontent? Just because a team drafts you they don't own you to possible screw up your career. You got a marginal HC that is a defensive guy who says he's right. Becton tried RT last year for the good of the team he hated it.

The rich get richer. The American way. Meanwhile, seniors on a fixed income would love to play more golf but have to limit their playing time because green fees and equipment can be very expensive.

I buy used equipment on line through Global Golf and 2nd Swing Golf. I browse the online tee times and look for the one or two Hot Deals they have that day to save money. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to afford golf.

Does Mickelson deserve an apology? He was as much if not more of a jerk than anyone else. I used to like the guy. But the complaining and claiming victimhood from guy who's close to a billionaire did not set well with me.

I never cared much for McIlRoy. So him being another jerk didn't really change my opinion of him. It was already negative to him to begin with.

I don't pay any attention to draft capital until a few days before the draft. I will let the FO worry about cap space as the only time I see it come up is in conjecture and hand wringing. I don't really care about AZ or other teams unless we are competing with them for something meaningful. I don't take any pride in saying team X is worse than us - though saying we are better than team X works for me. I will focus on the trophy case and look forward to adding to it.
