Within reason, please... no Joe Thomas playing center shenanigans.

Mine:
LT - Robinson, Person
LG - Brandon Scherff, Barrett Jones
C - Stefan Wisniewski, Tim Barnes, Jones
RG - Saffold, Person, Jones
RT - Barksdale, Person, Jones

Cosign! With the caveat that D. Rhaney could make T. Barnes expendable.

idk enough about the linemen in FA or the draft but all I know is that I won't be listening to any talk about how good or bad they are all offseason. not gonna listen to crap until I see them in action. they were supposed to be 'solid' last year per the camp sources and ROD ppl watching the OTAs and practice but I had a feeling. better to be pessimistic now and then hopefully pleasantly surprised. too many years of this bad OL crap

LT: Joe Thomas
LG: Greg Robinson
C: Corey Linsley
RG: Larry Watford
RT: Tyron Smith
Who's Larry Watford?
And "Boo," except for the Archer sig, so... hooray?

LT- No idea
LG- Robinson
C- SW from Raiders
RG- Saffold or draft pick
RT- Barksdale

I know that I'm in the very tiny minority, but I think Robinson could be a very special guard. Orlando Pace special at guard. I think he'll be good at LT too, but I don't see us talking about him as a special LT years from now. More of a Tom Nutten Adam Timmermann level. Anyway, you may now light your torches.

Reasonable, I like it.

Seeing that OL going into camp would make me cry tears of joy.

That said, I would like to see another OG drafted to back up Saffold. But damn that's a nice OL man, certainly above average and maybe legit playoff level as they gel through the year.

The best part is, I don't think it's remotely unreasonable. I do still retain my mancrush on Barrett Jones, so I wouldn't mind him getting a serious crack at a starting G or C spot, but after two years I'm not comfortable relying on him.

At first, I thought this was ideal D-Line... and I was like "Um... the same one they had last year?"

But on the topic, while I don't have a lineup, I'd be shocked if Robinson was pushed back inside.

I would prefer Robinson at G as well.
But, it does not seem that is in the cards.

The salary cap is a complicated thing. I could be wrong but I don't think there is a cap hit if a player retires with years remaining on his contract... or am I wrong? I'm hoping that Scott Wells and Jake Long both decide to do what's best for them and their families and hang up their cleats.

If Barksdale is resigned there are only 2 spots in desperate need of improvement.
