It's amazing how many times we have seen him get the pass from Goff and be a few yards short of the first down, or sometimes more, and he seems to find his way there. It's that deceptive speed and he gets into top gear in the blink of an eye, not to mention he isn't easy to tackle. He gets YAC unbelievably well.

He's kept drives alive all season long.

This was a great pickup by Snead. And what a value too.

No one here can deny what Robert Woods has meant to this squad. He runs super crisp routes and has great hands (I compare him to Isaac Bruce but some people would consider this blasphemy). I'm glad we have him in horns and hope he finishes his career like the list he's grouped with. He definitely deserves some love... can the brother get some Pro-Bowl votes?

What I like about Woods is the way he always turns up field on jet sweeps. He doesn't get cute and run laterally like some others tend to do. He turns upfield when he sees the first opening. He rarely gets dropped for a loss. Pretty much has the same mentality on receptions too. Get the most you can by going upfield. Not backwards or laterally. I'd swear if he wore number 80 I was watching Isaac Bruce.

I never understood the desire to not gain extra yards. Getting upfield immediately is an underrated and underutilized skill.

I see him as a faster version of Torry Holt more precise running routes though...AND THE GUY CONSISTENTLY SECURES THE BALL!!!

Obviously Kupp is awesome too, but this duo of Woods and Cooks is about as solid a pair as Ike and Holt.

I see a lot of Bruce in Woods. His routes, hands, and RAC are all above average if not great.

I don't get why he seems so underrated around the league. The guy just makes plays. At the right time too. As valuable as Cooks has been with his deep threat, I would rate Woods our most valuable receiver. He's pro bowl caliber. I had a hunch he would be better than most thought when we signed him. If he had similar targets in Buffalo as the 1000 yard receivers around the league did, he woulda have multiple 1000 yard seasons.

I can’t help but wonder if part of that is because he was sorta “hidden” up in Buffalo for 4yrs. I mean, you knew of him, but he kind of snuck up on me...

I had no idea he was this good... and he’s only 26.

Woods needs a nickname...I've been pushing "The Driver". The biggest club in the bag!

I love me some Woods now, but remember what Ike did on losing teams for 4-5 years before Kurt revealed himself. He gained like 1300 to 1400 yards in his first year as a starter, with Guys like Chris Miller and other palookas throwing to him. Ike was no joke.

That requires guys to actually throw at him. Woods had to deal with Watkins being the supposed number 1 WR and a team built around a run game.

Maybe it's the same. I'm young.

I guess there were media and fans that were shocked that the Patriots would let him get away and come to the Rams. I know. I was one of them. It just seems to me that the media didn't call out the Patriot's from the beginning. Everything seems to be under the radar for Woods. Holt might be faster, but Woods runs better routes.

Woods is amazing and one of my favorite current Rams.

However, lets not get too ahead of ourselves. As good as Woods is, he isn't quite on the Holt or Bruce level, but his game is reminiscent of both to be sure and that in itself is a huge compliment.
