I’m scratching my head with a lot of our picks, but I also don’t follow college football as much as I do with the NFL. I just wish we addressed some more pressing needs (at least from a fan’s perspective). Regardless, I’ll trust Snead + McVay on these picks. Very surprised we have not drafted any OL.

Another pick I absolutely hate. Not because of the player because he had nice stats at Purdue alot of catches and yards - 830 for TE that's great, but not a need.

Still never addressed the 2 major weaknesses on the team imo C/G and ILB.

If the line can't hold up how are the skill players drafted Akers, Jefferson and not this kid going to make much of a difference.

Interesting choice, McVay clearly likes him so I’m looking forward to good development.

I could see a 13 personal gameplan with him, Higbee, and Everett. That’ll make defenses think the run or pass play

I have no doubt there were some Olinemen and ILB who the Rams liked but my guess is that once they were gone the grades on the guys they have left at the position were pretty meh. I'm all for shoring up those spots but not if it means taking a guy who's no better than what we have.

That's a Jets move.

McVay and Wes Phillips know TEs and how to develop them. Hopkins is an athletic F or H TE. He has the separation quickness to get open against LBs, run after catch skills, and the speed to threaten the seam. But his hands are inconsistent, and he's a bad blocker (which is my biggest issue with him). I got fed up watching him when I saw him hang his HB out to dry multiple times by running around a defender instead of whamming him on running plays where they brought him across the formation.

Nothing worst then watching a player take the easy way out (errr business decision). Marcus Peters and his willingness to watch everyone else make tackles...

Probably the most overused line this draft although I hold firm to my slight similarities with Van Jefferson to Rev Ike. I'd love to see those to work together would be immense for Van.

But this dude looks like the tight end version of Kupp to me lmao.

We trade down for a 7th when there is a perfect Littleton replacement in Dye available, then draft a TE in the 4th round?? We are completely set at TE, also with the Jefferson pick that indicates we'll still be in a lot of 3WR sets, with one TE. When we DO run 12 personnel, Everett will be on the field. Why in the hell would we draft him over OL or LB? Do they understand we will be entertaining next season with the same exact OL as last year? The same exact trash line that cost us the season. The 31st rated OL, we didn't add one player. And completely unknowns at ILB. This pick makes literally no sense, hes never going to see the field.

The team likes our current group of interior linemen, and ILBs.

But we do have 4 more picks today.

I mean.... how many TEs do we need on this roster?
Hey Rams fans. However many you have. It's not enough.

More 2 TE and 3 TE sets to spring the run

I would like to see more of that, as long as Kupp gets his touches

He is a move TE who McVey will scheme open

Could be useful within the 20, where we really struggled last year

Fits the same pattern of picking players who can see the field straight away

'His route running skills are advanced and he has excellent ball skills... Hopkins does have the upside to start in the NFL and at a minimum should be a quality No. 2 option that thrives in 12 personnel sets'

He is the son of 13 year NFL starter, Tennessee Titans offensive lineman Brad Hopkins
