There was one big upside to Kyler Murray making the Pro Bowl over Stafford - his 5th year option for 2023 will now be maximum amount at $25.1M. He's probably going to extend for $40M/yr, but his rookie discount is shrinking.

Yes the snubbing may be a blessing in disguise.
But still snubs like this one is making the Pro Bowl a bigger joke than it already is.
Stafford 2nd in QB rating 3rd in QBR in NFL.
Give me Stafford over Murray any day.
