I'm curious why he feels the need to put on a complete set of hockey gear. I mean, if he's there for an appearance only then the shoulder pads and pants seem like he's overcompensating.

If he's actually playing... Well I think we can probably rule that out. Even if we couldn't, what the hell is he doing playing hockey for a professional team?

The whole thing is absurd.

Because he is a complete douchbag and always puts on these displays to prove how "masculine" he is.

He "plays" and by that I mean they let him win and then put out a press release that he scored 9 goals.

It's embarrassing, they are treating him like Make a Wish Foundation child and the douche seems to be so fucking proud of himself for scoring, he was even fist bumping team mates. Can you imagine if an American President did something like that? The public and the media would shred the asswipe for it.
