Saints fans (El Caliente), sorry to say but your head coach probably costed you guys the game. He was so obsessed with whining to the officials the rest of the game that he probably lost focus and tried to win the game in one play which resulted in Brees getting hit as he threw and the rest is history.

I would feel bad for Saints fans if they could say they never had a bad call go in their favor but we know that's not true.

The Rams are moving on. I feel no need to apologize. It's not like the Rams cheated.

I haven't seen that mentioned anywhere else, but Payton was whining about the call for several minutes after it happened. It's not surprising that his team lost their composure and fell apart after that. A good HC gets their heads back in the game and they rally.

Mike Thomas
For crying to the refs about PI on a tipped ball while Johnson is fielding a can of corn.

You tell me:

- Dan Arnold (dropping a sure fire TD)

-Redzone offense (13 points in 3 tries; including one gift of a turnover)

- Saints OL (two consectuve sacks and pressured through the night)

- Saints' secondary (giving up 13-0 lead, and then a 20-10 lead, then allowing a GT FG drive in less than 2 minutes).

- Drew Brees (INT in OT...although I can't blame him entirely for that)

- Asshole Face game management

This a something that Ive been thinking about during the BS carry on by Payton, the Saints owner and the media in general since the end of the game. If the roles were reversed and it was the Rams who were on the end of that particular bad call, would McVay have carried on in the same fashion Payton did? We've all been on McVay's case at some point this season about getting more animated with the Refs when obvious bad calls are made against us but he continues to just get on with things. I would like to think he would have his head in the game and concentrate on the things he can control, like making sure I played in a controlled fashion in OT and get points on the board and stopping the opposition from getting into FG range. Payton seemed to lose the plot after the missed PI call and it affected the Saints ability to win the game.

Part Asshole Face and part Brees, Payon did call a run on first down with two minutes left. Rams showed a zero blitz so Brees audibled into their normal counter which was the quick slant. I still put part blame on Payton becuase hearing the audible he could have called time out. Si I am guessing he was okay with Brees decision.

I saw NFL Network touch on it with Reggie Wayne and David Carr—they both said the same thing: Payton kept whining when he really needed to keep his team’s composure in check. There was still game left to be played, but he decided to let that noncall define the game instead of putting his team in the best position possible to win (and right mindset) after the noncall.

Oh really LOL.

C'mon, if that call is made the Saints take a knee three times then a chip shot FG and the Rams have like 10 seconds to work with.
And the face mask (uncalled) on the previous series was called, then we have 1st down on the one yard line, and most likely 7 points instead of 3 points. Like I said, which non call do you want to focus on?

Les. You can't just pick 1 non call.

Your smarter than that.

It was the biggest blunder I've ever seen.

here are shit tons of non calls, bad calls, and all the rest.

That one was HUGE. The worst I've seen in I dunno how long. And at the worst possible moment too.
