I'm wondering, am I the ONLY Ram fan who hates our 90% white uniforms at home games?

Yeah I know, and I agree, that winning is the important thing. But do we have to let visiting teams wear their colors in our house? (rented apartment)

The mostly white uniforms are pretty terrible looking.

Ummm a feeling it has to do like the Cowboys theme. You wear your white mostly and make the other team change it up. I agree our uniform is kinda f'd right now but we are going to have to put up with it until 2019. P.s. if we have to have color combos the whites looks the best. Can't stand the dark blue with gold anymore. Looks old and outdated of a bygone era.

It's super hot at the coliseum and the white jersey help A LOT with the heat.

So will we continue to wear white in November and December?

I'm not a guy who gets into frequent discussions about uniforms.

The whites looked great to me. I feel we looked faster in them. The Blue stripe on the pants, rather than last years gold, is a winner.

Having said that, I'm still not a guy that discusses uniforms. lol

Dan Reeves felt that the LA fans of the '60's would enjoy seeing visiting teams colors.

This during the blue and white days.

The current color scheme seems to be an homage to the old Coliseum era.

Thanks. So you stated a reason WHY you think it's happening. My questions to you is ... do you like all white uniforms?

Yes but it also plays homage to the time the Rams wore the all whites at home back in the fearsome foursome timeline.

Hmmm again. So it's more important to be "homaging" (awesome word) past players than to have an actual home team color ... and use it? :)

I've been a Ram fan since 1974 so don't anyone try and say I don't know the Rams of the past.

I apologize but it really really bothers me that we let the other teams wear their colors at our home games, and we run around in ghost pajamas.

I learned about this year's uniforms. The NFL has a rule that a full uniform change can only be done once every 5 years. The Rams are saving that for the year the new stadium opens.

This year, they changed the pants, but couldn't change the shirt or they'd blow the full change for the new stadium. Next year, they will probably change the shirt to better match the blue and white pants and helmet.

I don't prefer the white at home choice. I like the variety of darks at home and whites on road. I think the only darks we'll see this year is at the cowboys in a few weeks since they also do whites at home as well.

I am starting to dig the blue and white helmet...!

Well you just can't please everyone, it seems to me that a lot of us like the Whites at home, especially with the white and blue helmets...and others clearly don't, I guess it's a personal preference that really requires no explanation

Agree to disagree my friend

White uniforms also tend to be easier to see downfield than colored jerseys. I remember when Dallas played in an early Super Bowl (I believe #6), they were designated as the home team and deliberately selected their while uni's for better downfield trackability for medium to deep tosses.

It's the home team's choice which uniform they wear, and most home teams (in outdoor stadiums) will choose to make the visiting team wear the darker colors when it's hot. It's a very small strategic advantage, but an advantage nonetheless. You'll likely see us in darks when it's cold.

It doesn't get too cold in LA in those months. Wearing the white uniforms on the road, which they (would) do anyways, is where the cold would affect them.
