well we got AZ playing Buffalo and Seattle play SanFran..

so a win keeps the Rams tied for division lead

It isn't a must win of course, but sure feels like one. These are the games you have to win- Lost the first one like this vs SF- and to have to go to Zona 1-2 is a BAD deal, so it really feels like a must win IMO. I have a strong feeling Fisher is going to have a short leash on Keenum this week. I really believe that. If he struggles early, I can see him going to Goff. IF we are not moving the ball and putting up pts, it will be the Goff show appearing. HAVE to win this game= No Martin, and really only Evans to worry about (Vjack is old and slow right now)- so HAVE to get it done. I agree with OP- win this one- watch out- we lose- 6-10 or 7-9 staring at us again!

Week 3 film-study notes on all 32 NFL teams
by Andy Benoit

Los Angeles at Tampa Bay

Rams: This could be the week L.A.’s safeties get exposed in coverage. (Neither Mo Alexander nor T.J. McDonald is great downfield.) From a down-to-down standpoint, the Bucs have the NFL’s most vertical passing game.

Bucs: Any aerial productivity by the Rams must be manufactured through play designs. Expect them to hurl first-down route combinations at rookie corner Vernon Hargreaves. Hargreaves is talented but, understandably, up-and-down as a field reader at this point.

@DaveFan'51

that's how you won all that ROD$$$$$ money???? Nice!

Where's the $$$ leaders list again????
Just go to the SportsBook section and across the Top you'll see a section labeled "Statistic's" Click on that, and scroll down looking at the right hand Colum. You'll see two sections "Biggest Winner's" and "Richest Member's" That's the best way I can tell!

I didn't read all the replies but I'll say this much.

As much as I think we need W's, and we need to come away from this game 2-1...

I want to see us prepared and motivated and playing well. I can stomach a loss if we look like an NFL team. Recent games against Washington and Chicago come to mind as games that our players looked like crap when they hit the field. Tired, slow, lazy, etc.

For that matter...our first two games so far have been very uninspiring.

Hope they come out on fire!! Here needs to be a sense of urgency even early in the season.

I'm not sure it's possible to have a must-win game week 3, but this feels like a win to grab.

Some teams can go 1-2 and not panic....NE, GB, Denver, AZ, Pitt... That's not the Rams, tho.

THIS team needs to keep its head above water. We've not been a team to reel off a string of wins to get us back above .500 in a really, really long time.

It's about as close to a must win as a game 3 can be, imho.

Yep, that's just media inspired BS. This isn't baseball with 1,000 games a season, every single game is important until you're knocked out of the playoffs.

Every single game is a must win and nobody wins them all. So it's about how you handle that victory or loss that sets up the next game and the next one.

They won. Lock thread. Ha! Steal one in AZ. God help us if we go 3-1.
