Kenny Britt 3 Targets, 1 Catch, 13 Yards, 0 TD's, 1 Drop in the 4th QTR that was bad enough to have coach mention it in post game press conference, calling it the type of play that can ruin a Rookie QB

Brian Quick 1 Targets, 1 Catch, 11 Yards, 0 TD's, 0 Drops

Danny Amendola 7 Targets, 6 Catches, 100 Yards, 0 TD's, 0 Drops, 1 Concussion Protocol

Jared Cook 5 Targets, 5 Catches, 56 Yards, 0 TD's, 0 Drops, Not a bad debut, ran open alot with Crabtree and Cooper commanding all the attention

Lance Kendricks 4 Targets, 2 Catches, 18 Yards, 0 TD's, 0 Drops, Martellus Bennett the favorite for TE targets in Green Bay

Hoomanawanui plays tonight. Pimarily blocking TE, 95% of TE targets will go to Fleener

I saw the Britt drop. It was pretty bad. I think he heard footsteps across the middle. It is so nice to have NFL quality receivers on the roster.

They couldn't have left fast enough and I said that when they left. Especially Quick and Britt. They were an infectious cancer.
My thoughts exactly.

No matter how bad our offensive line was last year, it's telling that McVay and Co. decided to focus the off season efforts on an entire new receiving crew rather than draft and develop O-linemen.

So Jared Cook is a boss, while Danny A is better than Brian Quick, who's obviously better than Kenny Britt...who's just a smidgen better than Kendricks....gotcha!

The problem wasn't players....it was coaching.

there have been a plethora of QB's....David Carr, Tim Couch, Jeff George, Chad Pennington....I can't think of them all.....that were RUINED by coaches....and Goff would have just joined the list if not for McVay...and timing...Jeff Fisher already had 5 years to fuck shit up, so he had to leave. gratefully.

I'm interested in seeing how Britt handles being called out, publicly, by his head coach. I'm not sure I remember Fish ever doing that, so how will Britt handle it? Will be tracking his play just to see....and regardless, that ain't the Rams problem anymore.

What about Donnie Avery's stats?

Danny would like a word..
If I need a guy with tons of potential who can't stay on the field Amendola is my guy.
If I need a guy who is on the field all the time....although, not always knowing why.....then Brian Quick is the man.

The only one I ever thought was worth of flip was Danny.

Britt surprised me last year but that was an illusion.

I always liked Hooman but yeah, primarily as a blocker.

The more things change the more things stay the same.
Good thread.
