I would think wide receiver but cornerback would be another good pick.

I just hope that they go BPA on the five picks in the thread title with their 2nd, 3rd and 4th round picks.

We already have enough "projects" with "upside".

I too am tired of projects with upside. I want directed BPA...our greatest need is an honest God STUD Center..No more converted guards or UDFA's that we always assume can be plugged in there. This position has been neglected since almost forever in my opinion, because we keep assuming that coaches can turn a turd into a diamond. Getting a STD Center, just about completes the Oline.

This makes Todd Gurley Better.
It gives Jared Goff breathing room to be better.
It make make our WR's better, with the QB having more time.

If the guys we REALLY want at Center (or maybe two guys) might be there in the 3rd, we canw ait I guess, and pick a WR in the 2nd.

You can add LB to the mix too! Especially If TJ Watt is still around!!

What do they do with the overpaid Mark Barron?

I see him more as a Strong Safety anyway than a 3-4 inside linebacker.

Huh. Why can't I find this thread do you have listed above on the regular pages?

The link took me to it but I can't see it on the regular list of recent OPs.

It's on the same page as this is now, in the NFL Draft/College Forum ... look down about 7 threads.

Barron is good, I don't think he's overpaid. Watt would be a great upgrade and we could keep Barron at Safety!(y);):D

I was thinking that Phillips would send Barron back to Strong Safety and there's still a possibility if they get their inside linebacker.

I just don't see a 220-pound inside linebacker in a 3-4 scheme. Not typically anyway but don't put it past Phillips to figure out a way to get him into action.

I'm not sure..... but I am very excited to see who it is.....cannot wait........;)

Go Rams....... ;)

I am a proponent of going BPA but I think there are times when you have to consider your roster future contract changes and immediate needs.

In the second round how do you determine who is the BPA between your #1 rated Center vs your #1 WR??

I think you have to go Center.....right?

Unless you think your Center may be there in the third round.

More questions than answers here. :)

All comes down to what's going to happen with tru. WR and CB are the obvious choice but if Tru stays I say they go WR. Both positions are very deep this year and they can still get a quality secondary player in the 3rd round, the good receivers might be gone. If Tru leaves then drafting a CB is a must.
