Right before the season the rams were 10 to 1 at Harrahs vegas. I put down 100. I only wish I put more on them. The day before they were 12 to 1. I made the mistake of shopping around. Every where else was no better than 8 to 1.

On Bovoada, Rams were 9-1 favorites to win it all in preseason and NO were 18-1. I threw 500 on our guys and 100 on the Aints just in case. I'm feeling pretty good about both bets right now. Last year, I put major homer money (500 bucks) on our team to win the division at 12-1. I don't think I'll ever come across a sports bet like last year's ever again in my life!

I’ve predicted scores in soccer (I’m famous in work for predticing England to beat Wales 2-1 and Gareth bale to score first ) I didn’t bet it and it came true my workmates all placed it

I am however contemplating betting on every team in the playoffs except the rams

If I put a NICKEL (and I mean the coin, not $500) on the Rams, something tragic would happen like they'd all get 24 hour hepatitis before the game or something.

Best I can do is just watch and wait and celebrate this season.

Why would anyone bet at 2-1 odds ever. If you truly believed they will win you can win more money puttinf the same money up front during playoffs and let it ride til the super bowl.

I was a very hungover 20 year old in New Orleans, trying to put some Popeyes in my stomach without adding it to the collection of vomit, booze and worse that runs down the edge of Canal Street during Mardi Gras. Anyways, while I'm sitting there I watch a group of 5 guys meet up around a corner, then split up and eventually set up a 3 card Monty game.
Their scam was sooo smooth, they made several hundred in under 20 minutes.
Ever since then, the idea of gambling with real money makes me think of those poor tourist marks in NOLA losing their ass before lunch and I feel like I might lose my Popeyes again...

Where I used to work in the 90's I was known as the guy who others determined who to bet on. Everyone I bet on always lost. No matter how sure it looked. Heck, I bet on Mike Tyson to beat Buster Douglas.

Though I loved it when the 49ers were always in the playoffs and I would get someone to bet with me on the other team. The 49ers always lost when I bet on them.

It was worth losing the 5 bucks in front the 49er fans. The would plead with me not to bet on them. I would walk in Monday and gladly give up the 5 bucks with a smile.

I put $10 on the rams to win the NFC West and another $10 for them to win the NFC championship back in July in Reno. Those are my first two bets ever made in my life. As you can see I'm a pretty high roller.
