BUT ... Fisher needs to deal with that phrase all season since he told his team there would be no more 7-9. You shouldn't say things like that if you can't back it up. :sneaky:

I disagree. It's a statement made to try to change the culture and mindset of his players more than anything. I thought it was a refreshing, ballsy statement. Unfortunately it found its way onto a reality tv show and now all of the armchair turd burgers think its cute.

I realize Fisher is a polarizing figure (for good reason) but i think he deserves a little more respect from this fanbase.

Who really sets the bar at 7-9 in training camp? Everyone wants to win.

It's likely Fisher tells his players they're winners or some variation every year. Just caught on camera this time.

The goal has to be making the playoffs.

I have no problems at all with someone disagreeing with me and stating their opinion. I'm all for it and I accept your opinion as worthy. I will however pretty much quote Fisher word for word:

"That's 7-9 bull shit. We aren't going 7-9 again this season. Or 8-8, or 9-7, or 10-6 for that matter...."
