Btw @Thordaddy, not to be nitpicky, but Edgar Winter is a sax player. Maybe you were thinking of his brother Johnny. :)

Brad Paisley.

I've seen a ton of great musicians over the years and Paisley may be the best I've ever seen. The guy is an incredible guitarist. And he does it on a very clean channel. Making it that much tougher.

That reminds me of a t-shirt I bought after a white water rafting trip up in Tennessee. On the back it says, "Paddle Faster! I hear banjo music."

Good call! Not only is Paisley an excellent guitarist but he is also a Rams fan.

I didn't know that. Pretty cool.
I highly recommend everyone to see him live. Even if you don't like country, his guitar is in your face live. Much more than you would expect.
I've taken people that weren't fans of his and they were blown away.

I have a friend in Bakersfield, CA who is a cop. He's a Rams fan and we hung out a couple of times while both of us were in St. Louis to catch a game. He knows I'm not a fan of country music but one day sent me some You Tube videos of Paisley. I was blown away. He's as skilled as any rock guitarist I've heard. Here he does a Mark Knopfler tune - the solo begins at 2:15.

Brad Paisley was winning national guitar picking contest at 10 years old. He was truly a prodigy.
