In 1946, Bob Waterfield led the Rams in passing, scoring, punting, and interceptions. Quarterback, kicker, punter, and defensive back. Iron Man anyone?
I became of fan of the Rams in the preseason of 1972 (I think it was the very first game at Arrowhead stadium). It's easy to make lists off of players we have seen play, but when you look at the production and statistics of Waterfield, Van Brocklin, Fears and Hirsch compared to their contemporaries, you have to give these guys their due. There wasn't a Rams offense that compared to the 51 Rams until the 99 GSOT.
