I know it sucks that Bradford is out, but this team is built to succeed. If last night was any indication, Hill is going to have some nice pockets from which to throw, and the run game is gonna maul teams relentlessly while our defense just kicks the shit out of opposing QBs. Clearly Bradford would have given us an edge due to his having a much stronger arm and the ability to throw lasers, but Hill can find open receivers too.

He's started 26 games in his career, going 13-13.

8-8 this year, confirmed.

As stated in another thread, I might be in the minority on this one, but I really believe that this team can still win games without Bradford. They did it last year with Clemens. And this year, the defense should be better as well as the backup QB.

Staying in the minority here, I really wish that Fisher and Vince Young could get together again. At least there you have a backup that can make plays with his feet and he at least has experience with Britt and Cook.

Thanks for this X. Hill is a good QB, imo, it just sucks because Bradford looked like he had the potential to be the great. This guy can take us to the playoffs, though, if we consistently play like we did last night.

We will be the new Ravens of the late 90's. Robert Quinn is our Ray Lewis.

Hill does have a little more survival skill. But the Bradford to Quick connections looked like super bowl material.
Kid has a friend's b-day party to go to shortly. Maybe wife will let me skip it and get drunk. Big day at work tomorrow too, I just can't afford to get the level of "shit-faced" this news requires.
Football. and love for the Rams. It's interfering with my life.

Must seek help.
Go team.

I'll sure be watching college football a little more this season, here we go again. I think we can still go 8-8, will that mean we won't be able to draft a difference maker at QB? Damn....

I'm more upset about the long-term than I am about this individual season. Shaun Hill can play well enough to win on a team whose offensive success was never going to be determined by an elite passing attack. Stay the course, play up to our potential, and we still may have a shot at the playoffs.

Beyond this season though...I have no idea what to do about the QB situation.

There you have it. Jake Long is going to turn into one of the greatest playmakers in the NFL!
