That’s a Great group; and three of them did play together for one season … although, they were rarely all on the field at the same time.

Vikings and Cowboys too.
Regarding the Steelers (@dang), Vikings and Cowboys, are we talking those Teams' best four D-Linemen of all-time; or have we changed it to the best D-Line that played together, at one time?

Despite what @Loyal says, I am not old enough to have seen the original Fearsome Foursome but I saw the 1970's D-Line of Olsen, Youngblood, Brooks and Dryer; and THAT was a great group.

The Vikings' early-1970's Line of Page, Larsen, Eller and Marshall was tremendous; as was the Cowboys of the late-'70s/early -80s, with White, Martin, Jones and several DTs (Pugh, Cole and Dutton).

Unfortunately, the best I have seen was the Steelers ... Mean Joe Greene, L.C. Greenwood, Ernie Holmes and Dwight White.

I don't think there can be any challenges on-the-horizon, as no current team really plays a traditional four-man Defensive Line throughout a game, anymore.

Off topic a bit but the 1976 Steelers' Defense had the most amazing run I ever saw.

The two-time defending Super Bowl Champion Steelers got off to a 1-4 start. Back then, it was a 14-game season; and there was just one Wild Card Team in each Conference. Starting 1-4, pretty much meant a team was NOT going to the playoffs.

The Steelers won their final nine games, and made the playoffs, losing to Oakland in the AFC Championship.

In those final 9 games, the Steelers held their opponents to 28 points ... 28!!! That's three points a game for nine straight games! That's not possible!!! The Steelers gave up just two touchdowns, and had five shut-outs! Only one team scored more than six points. Again, that is simply NOT Possible.

Cowboys, I would go all time so I could put Randy White and Bob Lilly together.

Vikings, you could go either way. All time you have your pick of swapping in John Randle, Chris Doleman, Kevin Williams or Jared Allen to the already elite Purple People Eaters.

Our HOFers are better than THEIR HOFers!

Yes, I would take a starting four of Jones, Donald, Olsen and Youngblood over anybody. There was more to them than just sacks, of course. But they have a combined 505 sacks(and counting) while they were with the Rams. Which, I do believe, if you took the top four all time sack leaders for every franchise and combined them similarly....the Rams would be no 1.
