Edit: Proof 2 - It was the draft behind the scenes episode of, I think, behind the grind. Les is trying to decide on a player and McVay tells him, basically, to go with his gut. Yeah, gut = not analytics.

Maybe the analytics were adding up equal, and Sean was just offering a solution; does that mean he doesn't use or value analytics? I kind of doubt there'd be a dichotomy on it between McVay and Snead.

Defense is actually much more valued in todays nba than in many parts of its history.

I can tell by a lot of these comments though that not many people here actually watch games.

I watch college basketball - but its actually much worse level of play than the nba.

none of the good players stay in college.
