Something I stumbled on while poking around the interwebz.




During his time as head coach, four assistant coaches, (Zac Taylor, Matt LaFleur, Kevin O'Connell, and Brandon Staley) on his coaching staff were hired as head coaches across the league. His coaching tree has combined for a record of 137-109-1 in the regular season and 8-8 in the playoffs during their fifteen seasons as head coach after serving on his coaching staffs.

Having so many coaches move on to become head coaches, along with Holmes at GM, has to make the draft a more difficult process for Snead. These guys know how he thinks.

I’m glad they are tweaking their model of draftable players and are keeping info on lockdown.
 
If McVay’s coaching tree is a mighty oak, the Belichick tree is more like Charlie Brown’s Christmas tree…

And McVay's tree branches are starting to grow trees of their own with Brian Callahan getting the Tennessee gig coming off the Zac Taylor tree
