Okay, full disclosure; I couldn’t have one if I wanted one. Not enough hair. Maybe I’m jealous.

But, the man bun... is this going to be something we look back and cringe? Like feathered hair, painters hats, etc.

I don't judge. Back in the mid 70's when my hair length nearly reached my ass, if I felt it necessary to conceal, a simple hair tie or rubber band and tucking it inside a sport coat or shirt was the preferred method of choice. There are plenty of jobs where long hair can be a disadvantage, like food service, construction or in a machine shop, so I can understand some of the reasoning behind the 'man-bun', but as a fashion choice, ... no thanks.

I’m not sure which side I lean on this subject

Sorry, but if someone had attacked me like that, they would have found those scissors buried deep in the guys chest.
Oh...so you have a man bun, do you!

Where's the option of "WTF are they thinking that got this shit started in the first place?"

No, as mentioned earlier, my long hair dated back to the early 70's and 80's, also a time my friends and I belonged to a motorcycle club. While this video may be a sensational U-Tube like 'stunt' set-up of some sort, should it be real, ... in the fraction of time it takes to feel someone touching your head or messing with your hair or scalp, turning around and seeing that person with scissors being used as a weapon against you, my first inclination would be to defend myself. In the late 60's, early 70's, there was plenty of discrimination to go around against a 'rebellious long-haired sub-culture' which existed at the time, there were quite a few of us who looked like Willie Nelson still does today, and we were pretty aware of those approaching our surroundings and those that might present a threat. jmo.
