do we see a lot of tavon austin today......maybe if he shows some flashes we could possibly trade him for anything?......also i would love to see more of everett today......in my opinion he has been very dissapointing this year....he has shown some great flashes but with so many people saying that mcvay uses the tight ends and him being such a high pick i had some high expectations going into the year.....obviously I'm much more happy with winning then numbers but it would be nice to see like 5-6 catches out of him today.....im looking forward to seeing what we have in....

mannion..
everett...
young wideouts...
tavon...
FICKEN!!!!!
also curious to see how the defense holds up today....

I like Gerald Everett today and a big day for Malcolm Brown as you can run on the 49ers and Brown does not have the burst of Gurley, but does have the power, plus Brown is very good receiver out of the backfield. Justin Davis could see some reps and if he's worked on ball security can be a home run threat in the running game.

I'm not even worried about Everett.
He has the athleticism and competitiveness and he's going to be fine.

The vast majority of Receivers are always a little slow to get started.

Tavon we just don't need any more and we seem to get by without him.
I'm hoping Justin Davis can take his spot in the backfield and we really don't need Tavon as a receiver.
(Davis is still being punished, rightfully so, for his fumbles in the preseason but the Rams are not letting him go anywhere)
Davis seemed to have great vision and speed.

I'm wondering how much Woods and Watkins are going to Play! I think Higbee could be a Big Target for Mannion!

I saw Davis in the backfield in one game this season when Brown was out. He was in for a pass play and totally blew the blocking assignment. I didn't notice him in the game after that. I think it is more about pass protection than anything else at this point.

Matt Lafleur mentioned Tavon in his press conference. I think there will be some specific stuff game planned in for Tavon this game.

Hopefully we get to see him take one to the house. He is a delight to watch run in the open field.

I would really like to see Everett get a high volume of targets today. I think the kid could be really good. Although I do like the fact that Trey Burton is a FA this year. He reminds me of Delanie Walker when he was with the Niners. You could tell he was a good TE, just needed an opportunity. I’m sure he will get paid next year, but if McVay is looking for an upgrade for next season, he would be a guy I would like to add.

Could be both too.
I know they've been working with him for 15 games.
Hope he gets some work today, I like watching him play.
Of course being an East coaster wasn't that familiar with him coming out.

We might see more TE usage simply based on the QB change. I'd love to see Everett go off, or even Higs, just to remind McVay that the position can factor in come the playoffs.

So far it seems like Gerald Everett may be the answer to my question regarding why this team has two TEs on the practice squad.

I like Everett he has so much potential but the guy has to learn how to catch

I dont really care about much except how Ficken handles his oppurtunites.
2 for 2 but if we could drive the damn ball id love to see him from 30-50 yards.

I bet both of those deeper throws are completions if Goff is in the game. QB needs to make it easy on the receiver.

Watching Everett frustrates me. Really thought he was the deal early in the season. I know it's his rookie year but he hasn't shown much....and tavon......horrible.

Everett was a raw player coming from a small school. TEs almost always take time to transition to the pros. It's worth being patient with him. He's got a lot of ability.

The drops today were soul sucking. It was like with each one you could feel the competitive spirit of the team being sucked out through their @$$es. Just terrible man.

I maintain high expectations for Everett. He's a rookie and all, at a tough position to break into the league. But Tavon...

Words simply cannot capture how disgusted I am that that dude is still factoring in to the gameplan. I don't know if McVay feels like he has to help Les out by trying to create value with Tavon, or whether he doesn't want to hurt Tavon's feelings, or even whether Tavon has compromising photos of him with strippers/hookers. Whatever it is, just stop.

Please for the love of God, I cannot stomach any more of that dude half-@$$ing his way to the sideline with that idiotic stutter-step BS as he waits for defenders to fill whatever seam might be there. If McVay tries to force the ball to that dude in the wildcard round vs Atlanta I'm gonna break some $#!T in the living room. Please don't make it come to that Sean.

Today made me appreciate Goff that much more.(as well as Woods, Watkins, and Kupp)
