The Lions played with some heart against us and succeeded with 3 trick plays, but lost a close one. I have one strike in the game and the next one eliminates me. I can't believe that the Lions will go 0-17 and so who will they beat? I think this week is a good, yet risky game tp pick the Lions to win. There are a few other candidates for a possible win, and which would you pick?
Eagles @ Lions
Lions @ Steelers
Bears @ Lions
Lions @ Broncos
Lions @ Falcons

Or, would you keep picking sure thing wins? Help a bruthah out, I wanna kick your donkey!

Should not be out of good teams yet but at some point, it may be worth the gamble.

I could see the Lions beating the Eagles (too soon to pick them IMO), Bears and/or Falcons.
Don't think they win all three but one yes ... and ... maybe two.

Detroit had the Vikings and Ravens beaten. The Lions don't have much talent; and one of their few strengths (O-Line) lost its top two veteran starters but they have played hard for Campbell and his veteran staff, filled with former players.

I like Detroit - THIS WEEK - home against the Eagles. I need to read more before I pick them, but I certainly like them getting 3.5 points.
  1. Lions are at home
  2. Word is Eagles locker room isn’t great right now
  3. Anyone really think the Eagles are THAT much better?
  4. Detroit plays hard and they might be viewed better with an easier schedule… 49’ers, Packers, Ravens, Bears, Vikings, Bengals, Rams. Ouch!
A “W” this week for the Lions, maybe.

Top 5, top 10. All the same. No stand out in this draft. No QB
Haven't even looked at the draft admittedly.

Think I had Detroit at 5 to 7 wins iirc. But they should have had a couple wins already. Played well enough to beat us last Sunday if the Rams hadn't handled the response so well. I figure they'll get 2 or 3 the rest of the way, barring the roster quitting which I don't see happening with Campbell as HC.

I think the Lions hit on Campbell. Hope they give him a full three years look because that division has sucked ass for years. It's time for a new team to rise in that group.

A team like Jacksonville or Detroit you just don't use unless something crazy happens like Matt Ryan and Calvin Ridley both go down in week 16, and all you have left to use are TD+ dogs. At that point you are usually playing to win, and zigging when the other participants zag can bring home the money.
