Sure he could be really smart but he cant read a defense worth a damn, he is slow to make decisions, and when he does they are bad decisions.
UCLA must have a history of really crappy QBs if Hundley after his junior year now holds the record for most TD passes

I really don't see the Gabbert comparison at all maybe it is just me. I don't think he has an NFL equivalent and sometimes we try to hard to force a comparison. Hundley like most.......All young QB's has a lot of development before he is top tier NFL caliber. At 6-3 225 he is big enough and has very strong legs. He plays the game instinctively rather than using prototypical NFL QB tools. There is hope for him in the NFL by all accounts of those around him. Don't be afraid of @jrry32 breakdown he hasn't liked a QB coming out since Bob Waterfield. JK Jrry you know I respect and appreciate the time you put into your breakdowns.

Yes, these stats are meaningless, but w/e --

155.4 -- Brett Hundley's quarterback rating at the end of his last regular college season (pre-Alamo bowl).

155.4 -- Steve McNair's quarterback rating at the end of his last college season.

I'm not saying there's anything substantially similar between the two coming out of college. I never saw Air in college -- no illegal streams of Alcorn State way back then. Also not saying that Fish drafts guys that reminds him of past guys he coached *cough* Tree *cough*. Just thought it was an odd coincidence.

And, Please do not forget another famous ex-UCLA QB - Mark Harmon (1972 & 1973/ I think!)! I know he is more famous for NCIS and for being married to Pam Dawber but if my memory serves me correctly (And, it IS getting worse all the time!) he was a pretty good QB for the Bruins.
