It looks like the Patriots aren't impressed with him. Didn't they trade a fifth for him? If we go out and offer a seventh, would it be worthwhile? Would he fit in our defense? We could use the depth.
I'm not sure I would want a player who the Patriots (of all teams) consider a mistake.

.
2 teams have given up on him in this off-season. Something is wrong there.
.
They also got back a 3rd rounder from Carolina. Net result - they moved down eight spots in the draft. They traded a 2nd for him
The Pats dumped him for his injuries not his play.Easily worked out well for us.
Can the Rams afford his asking price? If Matt Longacre had not performed as well as he has in relief of the often injured Rob Quinn then it could be in for some consideration. What about Ahmad Brooks for some savvy vet LB depth?

True but....The Rams are going to have a tough enough choice on who to keep on the 53
As it is.
Longacre has been solid in preseason games. Can the Rams afford his asking price? If Matt Longacre had not performed as well as he has in relief of the often injured Rob Quinn then it could be in for some consideration.
Currently they do have some injuries @ OLB with Quinn, Thompson & 4th rd selection Samson Ebukam. Not sure why Price & McKinzy were held out of last weeks game.
He can still play. Maybe not an every down player but would bring some good things depth wise.Washed-up at 33 - no thanks
