Never good to miss any time with a minor injury when the front office is flailing....

He was just keeping a spot warm for Williams. Didn’t really look to be in football shape even for him. Thanks for the service.

Now let’s hope we can have good health over the rest of the season so we can see a little better quality play.

Cool fresh RB legs not that any of our backs get much work really.
Now help them with the pitch game and let's Go! Why we haven't tried laterals confuses me when everything should be on the table

Brown looked very slow when he got on the field. This was expected. Really hope Williams makes a difference in the run game. Also, he was an excellent option out of the backfield catching passes in college. Maybe the D can't load the box when he comes in, like with Akers.

Isn’t there a rule that if promoted from the PS the player has to stay up for three games, or did I imagine that?

I don't recall if it's 3 or 5 practice squad players per game that can be designated as 'protected', and they are allowed to immediately return to the PS without being waived. I'm not sure for how many weeks a player can do this. jmo.

He was good at breaking tackles (which should help) and also good at blitz pickup (which should also help). It would be nice if those things translate to the NFL

Excellent. Time to see what the kid's got.

Brown lost quickness not that he was ever very quick. He made some nice plays during his days with the Rams. Good luck MB.

Looking forward to seeing Williams show off his overall abilities. He just lacks that top-level speed.
