Yeah, that's a bit of a stretch. The Rams will be an interesting team to watch this year (I hope) with all of the 1st and 2nd year players that will see extensive time. Let's see what this ranking looks like next season.

I actually understand. No team is going thru as much change as the Rams this year. And with so many new faces how can they even be properly assessed. So the least talented tag is based on the unknown vs known. I’m looking forward to finding a number of talented players on this years roster. Just not sure which ones. Then fillings any remaining holes for a serious 2024 run.

Author just setting up article next year on how great of a Head Coach that Sean McVay is, that's all.

I watched AZ vs DEN last night. The cupboard is bare in AZ. I mean, the Rams at least have a few bonafide superstars.

The Cardinals have Buddha Baker. If your Safety is your best player you’ve got no talent on your team.
The Cards are being pretty bold with their tank. I'm going to have to be a huge Texan fan this year, lest the Cards get a combo of Caleb and Harrison Jr for the foreseeable future.

Very easy for non-Rams fans to make these assessments. A very good QB, 1 great WR, and 1 outstanding d-lineman. From outsiders looking in that's all. Not 1 standout o-lineman, RB, LB, CB or safety. Rams fans tend to obviously know a little more about our own team like most fanbases do. Now what I hope is that by the end of the year we flip the narrative on that. Hopefully, Avila and Jackson become tone-setters on the line, Jones takes the next step and become the defensive leader and play caller, Akers hits the 1,200 yard mark, Higbee posts 80 catches and sniffs a ProBowl invite, Durant and Johnson become stalwarts at the back end and please somebody provide at least average pass rush at the edge. They're not at this moment but wait til the season plays and take another look.

It’s not just Mike Clay who doesn’t fancy our chances, though. Looking through current Power Rankings, the highest I’ve seen us is 26th.

Either we’re going to be terrible this year, or a lot of NFL writers are going to be left with egg on their faces.

Rams Worst Team in NFL Talent Wise\

What the hell?

QB should be 10 at minimum

RB should be higher

WR 25 - really? with Kupp

TE should be higher with Higbeast alone

Off Ball LB 32? - wtf with Jones? Come on

CB and Safety are not 32 and 29 respectively

The only one I agree with is Edge - they don't have any known talent at this time
But this is BSPN....not really surprising for them...

Cards are worse but I can't argue with his assessment.

Lots of unproven talent that needs to show or backups (see interior Dline) that need to take another step for his assessment to be wrong.

I keep saying it, gonna be a long year since we have a lot of young inexperienced players that will get quite a bit of on the job training. Snead himself has already talked about 2024 when he didn't have to. This is a year of get a lot of cheap, young talent and see who sticks. Unfortunately that's going to also mean they'll be quite a few bumps in the road.

Absolutely, if the offense can get right, the year should be a wild ride as they'll keep us in games but man is the D gonna look rough at times. I figure anything we get from them this year is gravy. I don't expect much on that side of the ball.

Now if we can't get the offense right... eeeeeeeeesh.

The only concern I have about the offense is if the line can keep Stafford upright. If that can happen, then we should be good there. Like you, I fear the D is going to learn some hard lessons for sure. I just hope we unearth quite a few gems in the meantime.
