I am guessing best available LB. Which LB's do you think the Rams should consider? I also think WR & OL will be on their wish list.

I still would like a small trade down to get an extra 3rd even if the Rams have to give back a 6th. Then with the two 3rds you can add two OL for the future, with your #1 still maybe getting you the Georgia OLB late in the 1st.

The two 4ths can get you an ILB and maybe a one dimmensional speed WR, then in the 6th hammer away at more LB depth, could also use a safety and a RB.

What?!! You couldn't wait one day before starting this thread?!

Just kidding :D

My guess outside linebacker of some sort.

20. Los Angeles Rams (via mock trade with Lions)

Harold Landry, OLB, Boston College. The Rams can't help themselves from moving up. With Landry, they have an embarrassment of riches up front. Landry fills in for Robert Quinn immediately.

I dont think the current set up values the ILB position enough to spend a first round pick there. I do know they value weapons, guys who can cover, and guys who can rush the passer. For me, Harold Landry the EDGE player from Boston College and DJ Moore the WR from Maryland are the two guys who fit the bill most.

If we do not trade out of the first round, which I think is a really good possibility, I think the Rams should consider going back to the offensive and defensive lines. Suh is a rental, and (gulp) what if Donald goes somewhere else before we lock him down on a new contract. Our offensive line is miles from where it was just a couple of years ago, but if the right person is their at center or tackle, it would be hard for me to not pull the trigger.

If Landry or Griffin are there in the 1st or 3rd respectively, sure.

Otherwise I could see WR/OL, with a LB in the 4th.

Lots of athletic pass rushers in this draft.

Everyone is fixated on defense. Who's going to play LOT after Whitworth's contract is up? The Rams have invested a lot in the defense and now they need to draft for the other side of the ball, I hope they draft a LOT with experience in a pro-style offense at #23.

I could see us going a lot of ways depending on whos there but agree with most that a pass rushing outside linebacker seems like the last key to what they are trying to do on defense. Two down ILB'ers aren't as hard to find so if someone like Landry is there I'd think they'd go that route.

The rams are all in this year and they need an edge rusher to take advantage of the inside pressure. For this year and the future. If they like one in the first at their spot then they'll take him.
