Rams agreed to terms with QB Shaun Hill, formerly of the Lions, on a one-year contract.
Hill, 34, visited the Rams in free agency's opening week and was always expected to sign with St. Louis. He makes his offseason home just a couple hours from St. Louis. Hill has attempted just 16 passes the past three seasons but boasts a 13-13 career record and an 85.9 passer rating. He'll run the first-team offense for however long Sam Bradford (ACL) is sidelined this spring. Related:Lions Source:Jim Thomas on Twitter

Love what the Rams are doing this offseason. Staying under the radar and still acquiring good talent and depth without overpaying. Hill is a sizable upgrade at the QB2 position.
From Lions fans that I know, they love this guy. I think he'll come in and be great for Bradford and our rookie QB (assuming we get one). If Hill needs to play, I can see him doing a bit better than Clemens. I think if Hill was the QB last year, we beat Seattle in that close one.
