I am not sure I see the Rams investing heavy into the LB position... that would go against their style lately
I think the counter to that is that I never know what the Rams will do. A list of things I've been massively wrong on:
2022: Rams don't prioritize ILB (the sign Bobby Wagner)
2023: Rams aren't drafting a linemen with their first pick (they draft Avila)
2024: Dotson is good as gone. Rams don't pay interior line (they signed TWO guards to top money).

So who knows.

I was damned impressed with him in our game vs the Whiners, his first game back and on a pitch count. He finished out the season strong and has an offseason, I’d love to have him.

Maybe it’ll be a bit of a black eye getting back at them for Hacksaw Reynolds back in the day some of you remember?

He plays here a full contract with his play style that’ll get their panties in a bunch lol

Risky signing due to his durability issues. And he's a dirty player. But he completely changed the 49ers defense when on the field. Very talented ILB. If they do it, I understand why. I was hoping for Baun or Bolton, but obviously, those guys are off the table now.

He didn’t even finish the game he returned (v Rams) and was out the rest of the season with calf . Played at total of 34 snaps.
He was on a pitch count as they talked about in the game a 100 times, looks like he did play a little of the their Miami game and got pulled.

I was under the impression he played the rest of the season well but obviously have him confused with someone else. That’s a bit concerning.

Wonder what our Dr.s have to say on the matter .

Fuck him. He's has some durability issues although he is only 27 I believe. I do not understand why the Rams cannot find a good linebacker in the draft. Greenlaw was drafted in the fifth round. But I agree that a good linebacker might take this young and "very good" defense to "great".
