So Davis, Keenum and Hill are all active? Guess this is just in case something goes wrong, Hill "can" play if he had to.

Sucks that Joyner can't play, a blow to our secondary, do not want to see Brandon McGee. No surprise on the rest.

Didn't they say that Austin Davis was the official starter?

Or is Hill the starter this game?
 
Joyner out? Damn. I figured he was questionable at worst.
 
Will be interesting to see who is playing on special teams for the Rams.



@jthom1: For Bucs, RB Doug Martin (knee) is inactive.
Other Bucs inactives: CB Rashaan Melvin, OT Kevin Pamphile, C Rishaw Johnson, TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins (ankle), and DE Michael Johnson.
 
Damn. We need Joyner. At least Hill isn't inactive. Maybe he can play.

the logic is, Hill can take shotgun snaps if need be. But it will obviously limit the offense.

My guess, Davis starts, Hill as the backup, and if he further injures his quad, then you see Keenum. By then, it wont matter anyway.

Sucks if he is. He's not a running back is he. I'd like to see him get some snaps on end arounds, jet sweeps and one or two plays out of the backfield - or from going in motion into the backfield - but I don't want to see him lined up there a large amount of the time. Would seem to be a waste of his skill at his position - and an admission that we've failed to find a way to get him the ball as a receiver.
 
Rams need the extra DB with Joyner out, so Alexander is up. Need an extra DL with Long out, so Westbrooks is up and Mason/Watts are inactive. That leaves Stacy, Cunningham, Austin, and Reynolds at RB. We all know Austin will get his share of snaps in the backfield.

Not really too surprised with these decisions at all. Hill is active for emergency situations only.

Hmm, Mo Alexander is gonna be playing. We'll see how that goes.

Really wish Tre would be active, needs some speed in the backfield from a RB.
