Love the story about Eric arranging the trade with the Colts for Marshall to go to the Rams.

You made me watch/listen to the interview (glad I did, it was entertaining) because of the word "arranging".

That's a little miss-leading. As a result of his relationship/friendship with Faulk/Arceneaux, Dickerson had information that Faulk might be available via trade because of his contract situation with Indianapolis. Dickerson passed that on to the Rams.

That's Not exactly "arranging".

I always wondered how in the hell Shaw caught wind of Faulk being available like he did. Dickerson passing that along makes a ton of sense. Also it reinforces my opinion that 29 is the greatest Rams RB of all time. :bomb:

This was a whole lot better than I expected. There's a lot more there than ED's participation in the trade (incl. after Trent went down, "Gawd, I left Payton Manning") 5-stars.
If you guys watch americas game of the 1999 SB on YouTube it gives some of the same information. Some good other little details here! lol

Man, this takes me back. I was a little kid back then–born in '90. I can clearly remember watching Faulk and knowing there wasn't anyone like him. This was awesome. Thank you for sharing this with us.

On a sidenote–Todd Gurely. If that knee hadn't been what it was...man. We would've won that Superbowl for sure.

Knowing the animosity Dickerson had with the Rams front office over his contract, I am surprised he would then contact "Bring them to their Knees" John Shaw to let him in on that info. Glad he did.

May not be a guy that hates the Patsies as much as Faulk (well besides all of us).

He deserved that SB win in his home state!!!! You will never convince me there was not stuff going on behind the scenes there....made LVI that much sweeter

IM ready for the next one....
