Game Day Thread

The GDT is a live thread tradition here at ROD.

While we all get fired up watching the game, please remember our core principles; we always show respect for our team and each other.

Despite the emotional highs and lows watching a game, we will moderate this thread with that in mind, however please refrain from name calling. This applies to players, the Rams organization, and each other.

This is the core rule of the GDT. Moderators are tasked to issue thread bans, at a minimum, to maintain this standard.

This is our team. Win or lose. Good days and bad. We are here for FUN, not to be dragged down.

A more loosely moderated atmosphere can be found in the chat room.

Go Rams!

With Rams horrid start, every game is a big game to stay in the hunt. We are a different team with Puka and Coop playing and Matthew Stafford dealing. Others say the Rams are scary because of our Donald-less Dline and I agree with them. Agent Zero, Kobie Turner, Bobbie Brown, Fiske and Verse. Verse is a straight up stud and may be numbered with other Rams Dline greats if he can stay healthy. I think he will because he has faced a couple of OT's who are considered great and has manhandled them.
I hope Matthew, Kyren, Puka and Coop go off! Lets punk the Hawks in their own place. Sean, do not get conservative with a lead. All gas and no brakes!

On the Seattle game day, let's also have a celebration of remembering Pete C not using Beast mode in what was quite possibly the worst call in NFL history.
Thanks Seachickens for that memory and for not winning that 2nd chip as your fan base is already too obnoxious.
STAY IN YOUR LANE.

We could have easily been 7-0 had our two primary WRs remained healthy. Even with the early struggles of our young defense, Matthew and his fly guys can outlast just about any opponent offensive production.

Now, with our young defense beginning to find its identity like it did last year, there is even more reason for opponents to take any game against the Horns super serious. I am still waiting for Agent Zero, The Conductor, Fitz, and new ILB, Omar Speights, to establish consistent results during the second half of this season. It is important to get the front seven really disruptive so our young secondary has more opportunities to prep themselves for the top offenses they will face in post season play.

Sean needs to get Blake Corum further integrated into the offensive rhythm so we have a two-headed monster at tail back. I KNOW that Blake is getting prepared as a pass blocker because that is a prerequisite for extended play in a McVay offense. Matthew is showcasing his skills at getting rid of the rock with two rookies on the OL. What will this offense look like when we get our OL healthy, and the Soul Stealer has more time to find his fly guys deep? We haven't seen that yet, and no opponent wants to see that ever!!! :fistbump1:

Let’s go Rams. Make it an easy W today and send their ass bite fans home early again today.

Hoping for stout defense, patient offense with no turnovers, and no big mistakes on teams. No need to press today, play stout in the trenches and beat these bastids.
