Last preseason game is over, and now it's on to Monday Night Football. The Rams SHOULD blow out the Raiders. The Raiders defense is cr@p with Khalil Mack, because teams can game plan around the young super star. How about without him?

The 2017 #1 Offense in the NFL is going against this Mack-less defense. HUGE Advantage, Rams.

The Raiders defense has Carr and beast mode, and it's possible that Gruden has coached that unit up...But they are going against a revamped defense that is ready to shut the doubters up. Without AD, the Rams 2018 defense with Suh, Brockers,Peters, Talib, Johnson, Joyner, and the rest, are better than the 2017 defense, imo....With Donald, our defense becomes historic, and I believe Donald will be in Oakland, Week One.

Yeah I know "on any given Sunday..." Well, it's Monday so STFU.:yess:

McVay with extra time to prepare is dangerous.

I expect a decisive win.

McVay had the team ready Week One last year, he will this year too

I think the Rams win the opener but I'm not too confident we'll blow the Raiders out. It's a hostile field, Monday Night and will have a playoff type atmosphere so the Rams might be geeked up and need to settle down a bit.

McVay needs to be ready for Gruden to anticipate his plans, like we saw with Jay Gruden last year. The loss to the Skins was his worst performance of the season IMO from a gameplan perspective. I think last year's loss to Jay will be instructional too, in helping him avoid that happening.

LoyalRam,
How do you know that K. Mack won't be on the field against the Rams? You know Raiders fans could probably say the same thing about A. Donald though I do believe his signing is imminent. Of course I've been saying that for weeks now but hope springs eternal for a Rams fan!

Yeah, any given sunday, but I'm definitely not high on the Raiders. Maybe Gruden has the magic touch but I just don't see them being anything more than an average team in a division with three better teams than them giving them 6 wins at best. First year of a rebuild even if they don't want to admit that. As long as the Rams don't come out lethargic I think it's going to be a really fun game to watch for us.

I see us losing TBH.

No clue what to expect and I think experienced coaches/QBs playing Brees and Brady for meaningful time in the preseason is meaningful. I think we start slow and Ramsnation freaks.

I hope I'm wrong.

Mack and the Raiders haven’ negotiated in months and Gruden hasn’t even met the kid. Mack has held out all offseason, so now he’s just gonna show up? A lot would have to happen in 10 days for your “what if” to be even remotely possible. I think it’s more likely Mack is traded, than play on MNF.

Like I said above, EVEN IF Donald isn’t playing on MNF, this team without him is better than last years defense with Donald. Donald in in the 2018 defense makes the Rams historically good. Rams go 14-2 in the regular season this year, in my humble, totally objective opinion!

Scary thing Is no one knows how to gameplan for the raiders at this point so in that way they have an advantage . I think gruden will attack our olbs and ilbs to see how they hold up. Hopefully our young LB crew is prepared

I hope so ...I dont know anyone on that defense other than Mack. Their offense might be explosive though .

I hope our core guys are not rusty from all the sitting , although I think practicing against themselves in practice might help more than preseason games .
