What a cool find!
Anyone able to deduce what season this painting was made?

The detail is fantastic!

49ers banners behind the bench are exactly what I would expect from an organization that has always talked shit as shamelessly and easily as if they were leaving it on the sidewalk...

84 or 85, Gary Green #27 at CB in picture, I'm betting on 1985 Monday Night in 1985 when the Rams beat the 49ers on December 9th in San Francisco and went on to win the Division.

If that's Blood he played until '84 iirc. So would have to be the '83 or '84 season.
#27 is CB Gary Green so it would have to be 84 or 85 as Green was traded to the Rams from the Chiefs before the 84 season, Green was not on the team in 1983.

I think we're all set @badnews , this was 1984 the last game of the year in San Francisco, the 49ers won the game 19-16 and it was the last regular season game of Jack Youngblood's career.

His last game was a loss to Frisco? Poor guy....
Actually his last game was a loss to the New York Giants in post season in 1984 16-13. Rams had a 4 & 1 from like the 10 yard line and went for it and instead of handing it off to Eric Dickerson, they handed it to FB Dwayne Crutchfield instead and he was stuffed and thus the Rams lost.

My memory it's a blessing and a curse.

#58: Linebacker Mel Owen's

#55: Lonebacker Carl Ekern

#55: Linebacker Jim Collins

Just throwing these three into the mix.

Wendell Tyler #26 played for those scumbags in 84... that's him in the painting.

I hated that he played for them but I enjoyed watching him fumble for em.

Your brain is just so well preserved in the upstate NY cold!

Well I guessed 85 so I am happy to be close. 1984 I was a sophomore in HS. I miss watching those guys play, especially ED.
