Are there any good ones left, serious question? Personally, I cringe every time I see something posted here or on media websites from so called sports reporters. Take away the ones that cover the Rams.

Vinny Bonsignore was pretty good, but he covers the Raiders full time. I also enjoy Baldy's Breakdowns.

What, OP wants names or something?
Any reporter, not limited by team?

Here's a start:
Rich Cimini, Paul Gutierrez and Seth Wickersham of ESPN.com
Zak Keefer and Dan Pompei of The Athletic
Liz Clarke, Nicki Jhabvala and Mark Maske of the Washington Post

Each of these writers was a PFWA Dick Connor Award winner in 2024.

Additionally, each NFL team has several beat writers - people know of Jourdan and Vinny, but there's many more out there.

The problem, of course, imo, is that quality, credible writing is overwhelmed by the piles of crap on the internet and the quest for engagement. Actual print media, which now includes The Athletic owned by NYT, and ESPN.com are probably good places to start.

It's scary, but I'm guessing most people here have no idea who Gary Klein and Adam Grosbard are.

I have, follow them on X.

I agree with your comment about the pile of crap on the internet (no verbatim). So much it's hard to syphon through all of it.

There are lots of great ones.

Unfortunately, most people see aggregated bullshit.. or hot-take artists who generate headlines.

But.. here's the thing.. some of them are behind paywalls. You know.. they want to actually be compensated for their work.

I think most of the folks at the C Athletic do a good job. Jourdan does well for us, Dane Brugler does good draft coverage (the beast is an awesome resource).

Im sure other teams have reporters i don’t read but are good too.

My tip is to avoid television personalities and read. Its not infallible but writers are way less focused on their own persona than tv personalities are.

And unfortunately, many of the "reports" are geared towards a public who may not be as knowledgeable to what is actual, and therefore can spin headlines.
