I kind of understood their decision to put a regular season game on peacock only - they are trying to promote it - but the playoffs?

And no way will it be ours. We'll either get the Sunday primetime game or the MNF game.

Time to start posting stream sites for that game? I hope this fails big time so that the NFL stops this bullshit of trying to make fans buy multiple services to watch the games. Pretty soon, you'll be expected to pay $1000 per season to watch any football.

Ugh. That is horrible. I'm already very unhappy with the Prime Thursday games. Some of us work later and can't tune into live games. I've DVR'd that game for years and watched it once I'm off work, now I have to wait for the re run at 9:15 on NFL network, which, half the time they start out by talking about the finished game and results. Which, as you might guess, is a hell of a spoiler.

As a Peacock subscriber I support this decision. One thing to keep in mind is all games have to be shown in the teams home markets on TV. So even though they say Peacock only if it were the Rams game it would be on NBC in LA and the city of whoever we're playing.

Ours will NOT be peacock on Saturday, can just about Guarantee that. I have Peacock too, mainly for the golf coverage.

No offense. This is way to stick it to fans who can not afford all the streaming services. They squeeze every ounce out of us for merch, parking, food and not just to stay home. Not to mention all the commercials.

When is enough, ENOUGH?

At least Peacock isn’t very expensive, and can be cancelled for the following month.

But I agree, It’s BS.

Is there a potential future without network television? Is it possible that at some point, the networks are going to be forcing us to either subscribe or else miss out on the games they purchase the rights to?

It used to be that if you had a TV and an antenna you had the biggest sports games. Then ESPN, NFL network, prime, and now peacock started siphoning off games. TNT took the NBA, and some NHL. Slowly but surely, more and more meaningful games went to pay extra channels.

Is this only going to get worse? Will we need to subscribe to some package to get the Super Bowl some year soon?

Likely will be the AFC 4/5 game with the AFC south team. It won't be the NFC 4/5 game because Philly is considered a big national draw.

Fuck knows why.

Although, with that defence, they could draw in an audience of millions on Comedy Central.
They get great ratings when they play...not sure why either. Maybe a love/hate type team abd the Philly market are diehards. So you have a top 8 market where a huge % watches them.

Any chance we can make a section for streaming and downloads (legit free pop up blocker, anti virus, and malware protection for people?) I can help with that with questions etc.

Don’t know if @CGI_Ram would be into that. Been streaming 15 years now, and it’s changed a lot for the better but still needs to be watched for BS.
