Starts at the 8 minute mark. I know he's pissed because the call cost his team the game but I can't disagree with what he's saying. Let the players play, no one watches football to see what the refs call and don't. For the face of the NFL to go in on officiating like this you know there's a problem.

Yep, I'd sure like to see the timing of when the flag was thrown. If it was even a little bit later than right at the snap, I'd be very suspicious of the motive.

Say what you want but Toney was clearly offsides. It's not the first time he has cost them a game this year either
100% it was the right call but earlier in the presser Reid talks about how refs give a warning. Toney should have checked with the ref, did he? I dunno. But there seems to be an understanding between refs and teams to try and avoid shit like this. Like Mahomes said, this is such an inconsequential "foul" that ruined an epic touchdown. It was a foul, yes and he's pissed they called it. But you can't deny his frustration is valid especially when Von Miller gets a free pass being offsides the play aftwr.

Oh, I agree that Toney was lined up off sides, it just seems odd that they called it there. Patrick thinks so too!

The Chiefs are having a hard time not being an Elite team anymore.

Their offense is mediocre and I am sure it's a blow to the Ego.

Maybe you should of drafted better at WR. Like a Puka in RD 5.

Also, If you want to take a flyer on a headache like Toney, then be prepared for games and untimely plays like this.

If it were the first quarter would they haved called it? If YES then it's gotta be called there too. How hard is it to line up properly anyway? Any complaints against 'calling it there' simply means, 'when we're losing at the end of the game, you shouldn't call penalties'. They had legit complaints last week, not this week.

It ain’t rocket science to getting on the line.
1. Line up parallel to your offensive line.
2. Check in with the official by asking: “Am I on?”
3. The line judge or down judge should provide affirmation: “Yes, you’re on.”

It’s pretty simple. This is how I instruct the players in the first game or two.

At the professional level, it should be part of the standard progression. Receiver the play call and either line up on the line or line up at least a foot behind them.

Bad look for the NFL's poster boy.

I get it, he's frustrated. Play better.
Makes it even worse that Andy Reid basically doubled down. Won’t be shocked if they walk it back tomorrow. League is gonna hammer both of them with fines, especially because they are clearly wrong.

Off topic, but… I watched Cossell on Cowherd. He said the real problem with the Chiefs in his opinion, is that Mahomes does not look comfortable anymore. He thinks they need some serious upgrades on the offensive line.

It’s interesting how many things have to be right for teams to win, even for a guy like Mahomes.

Well this is True, their offensive line isn't that good. The tackles have been bad grading out in the 50s on PFF. Creed at center has been good but RG Trey Smith has been average and LG Thuney has been a bit above average. Overall it's not a good group.

The WR's have had huge timely drops, problems getting open and Kelce fumbled a game away 2 weeks ago.

Remember when the Chiefs lost in the Super Bowl when their Oline fell apart at the end of the season? Imagine that team without Tyreek Hill.

I follow the Chiefs dam near as close as the Rams because my Wife is a Chiefs fan. So it my Boss and a few other people I converse with on the weekly.
