I was looking over a thread about Boehm on the Cards fan site, and they were nor very impressed by him, although some say he could play center, but not guard......

AWESOME! Boehm is a Mizzou alum and probably the best center we've had under the Pinkel era, which is saying something.

Looks like they are holding that 10th PS spot for whoever they cut when Donald is activated

On the Cards website, a fan said "I hate him going to the Rams to tell Cardinal secrets to the Rams DL"

I told him that I don't think Donald, Suh, and Brockers need any hints...lol

Evan Boehm" 6' 2" 310 lbs, age 25

Boehm was drafted by the Cardinals in the fourth round, 128th overall, in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Saffold & Brown are free agents at the end of the season. Giving Boehm a look to see if he is has any potential to be a starting G in the NFL, or backup.

Or even as a Center possibly.

He has 10 lbs on Blythe and Allen.

The starting experience is a plus as well. Maybe he was slightly miscast as a guard and center is his premium position.

Could be. Perhaps Sullivan is having issues. Hope not. Allen sure looks like the future starting C.

I doubt it's a Sullivan issue. If Boehm is a better long term prospect than Allen, great. We all know Sullivan only has two years left, at most. If you can get a realistically possible replacement for the cost of a practice squad spot, you take it. And I say that as somebody who likes Allen.

Well, Blythe will be playing Guard for the next two weeks, good to have depth at Center, once Brown gets back, the depth will be good IMO. I would have preferred a G/T as opposed to a C/G, however, Boehm is worth a look and it's one hell of an opera.

I don't think it has anything to do with Sullivan or Allen or Blythe.
You just always want to turn the bottom of the roster and see who you can develop out.
(Plus he has 10 lbs on Blythe and Allen).

The guy looks like a perfect candidate;
Maybe a late bloomer.
Maybe just needs better coaching.
Already has some starts under his belt.

Maybe he just turns into some solid depth down the road.
I never heard a word about the guy but on face value it looks like it's worth a shot.
